  • Is there anywhere on the web where I can download the Shogi Musou and Shogi Zukou puzzles ? I wish I could find them in a PDF file to work out on my board. I've had absolutely no luck finding books with Tsume Shogi stuff in them.

  • Musou: park6.wakwak.com/~k-oohasi/shougi/

    Zukou: park6.wakwak.com/~k-oohasi/shougi/

  • I'm now solving the watanabe Tsume Shogi in my Nintendo DS, already done half of the 600 problems so far. The 3手tsume problems already give me enough head-ache, I can't believe that there exist Tsume-shogi with so many 手s, can people really solve them? it's hard to imagine. ^^

  • Oh, that game of Watanabe has many difficult problems. The difficulty of a problem isn't always proportional to the number of moves.

Yes, professional players can solve these long problems.

  • hi hidetchi do you know a link where i can finde a engine for the shogidokoro mate problem funktion?

    Whould be a great help.

  • Splendid job as always, thanks!

I'm wondering why sente needs both G5f and L4i? I'm staring hard, but the only purpose I see for them is to defend 4e and 4f, and for this just one of them would suffice. What am I missing?

  • Oh, I'm sorry, I see it now. I thought that if at 6:19 the king runs to 3c, there is P*3e K3e +B7i, but I missed the lance at 7b :-). So the move Gf4 is necessary at that moment. Cool!
