Hey Mahalo, I just wanna say good job so far on the campaign, and "KayleDevanandAESOME" has a point where you should try to quicken your units, which has an advantage and disadvantage. I say, cut the pauses from ur vid, take ur time developing ur bases(lvling up stuff and getting turrets), building your army, and etc. Play it safe when things get hard too and don't be afraid to have units stand there ground somewhere to guard road's etc.

i mean yea building a big base and expanding your defense is stragetic not if you just build a big army of marines and a few warthogs and flamethrowers and just attack like suiciders.

Then it doesnt really make sense that u put them all together try seperating them and make a big force to kick teh covenenants ass trust me i am a stragetic game freek and used to make stregetic plamns and way to attack in iraq so take my advice ;))

I don't even thing Halo Wars can be considered an RTS ; There's no real actual Strategy involved!

It amounts to nothing more than massing up a hoard and running in the enemy's front door. Battles are decided solely on who has more units. That's not called strategy, that's called Brute Force.

But to be fair, much of it is due to the controller. Arguably, one just can't play a REAL RTS without a mouse / keyboard. It allows unit micro-management that give rise to the strategic element.

Well try it on legendary. But I see your point. Halo seems to break quite a few rules and grounds when it comes to console. FPS and now RTS done well on consoles.

the arbiter in this game does die. there is no arbiter in halo 1. a new arbiter is named in halo 2. the arbiter in halo 3 is the same as halo 2.

1: you take forever to decide if you're actually going to build something or not,

Real Time Strategy, meaning you collect resources (which is pretty downplayed in this game) and fight enemies a long the same time frame. The series is a perfect formula for an RTS and I'm surprised it took them 8 years to release one.

well, look at it this way: Starcraft 2 is going to be HUGE, and probably will probably be the #1 RTS on the pc. dont get me wrong, i LOVED the first one, but halo wars is one of the best consol rts games in a while. Starcraft 2 will have the pc, and Halo Wars will be no. 1 on the consols. Insted of saying which is the best rts, it should be: Which one is best on its respective platform.
