yeah you have to be pretty good at skateboarding to be able to wakeskate. otherwise, you'd just be riding without doing any tricks...if you don't know how to skate, i recommend sticking with wakeboarding. it's open to a more broad variety of people and it's easier to do tricks because your feet are attached to the board.

you are wrong, i do both and KNOW that wakeskating is harder, wakeboards are heavy, so once you start the flip it give you momentum, wakeskates however are light and to land a trick is hard because the board will fall behind you unless you flick it forward.
micth12378, you're wrong, and everyone agrees. don't try to make people believe that wakeboarding is harder, because it's not. go out and try nailing a kickflip on a wakeskate and come back to tell us how it went. THEN you can be the judge of which one is harder.
