i have a healer and he just jumps all the time i heard thats what there made for thats why most of them get there tails cut of so it doesnt get caught on the fences
@CandyBmx25 Well wiki says it true ha ha, I looked it up. Really its ashame people do, heres why: Australian Cattle Dogs should have a natural, long, un-docked tail. This is because the dogs use their tails as rudders, which provide them with balance and quick reflexes when running or walking.
I think thats a crazy option to cut off a dogs tail, sorry I don't care who you are thats like you cutting off my legs. The shock collar is the best option Rusty has done very good with it.
@CandyBmx25 Plus that breed learns very quickly, hes very Intelligent. The breed ranks 10th in Stanley Coren's The Intelligence of Dogs. So he has learn the shock collar and how close he can get to the fence and how he can't climb it anymore, when one day the invisible fence messed up, it took awhile but after a few days he figure out it stop working and he climb the fence again. A course we fixed it, hes a good dog the only problem he want shut up at 4am for cryin out loud!!!
Well we found away, most people disagree with shock collars but much has change ever since bad things have happen to dogs before. Its not like a shock in shock therapy, but more of like....you know when you get a shock from static electricity. Well that is how they say it works, so its not a bad shock at all and he seems to do really good on it.

A friend of mine had to put a big pvc pipe inside the fence (almost at the top) to keep her dog in. It worked!
