  • I think when you put heavier mechanics into a longer fuse with longer blades, the weight and drag (watts/lb) will certainly take care of itself accordingly. And we will be hunting for that right combo of motor kv, gear ratio(s) etc to get that desired rotor speed. I guess you answered my question when you said bigger is better with scale. But there comes a point...I think mine is about "750 size" as if there wuz such a thing.

  • Pretty damn stable if you ask me...especially considering all the conditions (wind, no electro stab, camera guy..ha). Was wonderng which you prefer (oly one choice), the elctric Vario size or the Electric this size (90?). Love the Vario stability bit pretty big. Of course some of us can fly both like they were full scale.

Bigger is better when dealing with scale models. This 412 is considered '60' size by most people; 680mm rotor blades vs 720mm or longer for the '90' machines. But when referring to e-power you really need to talk weight and watts to properly compare sizes. Thanks.

  • Smooth! Sorry about the crash. Hope she'll be back in the air soon.

  • @nickmcenjoy

Crash??? Did I miss something? Maybe you're thinking about a different video.

  • @StormyMaxPerry LOL that's right. Sorry. I was talking about the Novus CP, not this one.
