are you using Martin MX-4 scanners? if so im glad to see im not the only one using them altho i only have 1 :( so its not really the best light by its self but with 2 or 4 its a really good light

Omg.. finally.. ive found a mobile dj that got some good trussing instead of cheap backsheet drop system.. and btw! nice lightning! Have you tried to lite the bridge/truss up with two led pinspot at the ends of the truss? works great, it looks awesome!

They are VEI Novascans. We ran them with Martin Light Jockey, using that we can make them do anything.

I used LJ for them. I set it up in an eclipse with and 8 fixture delay. That's how they were chasing each other's gobos.

its just a personal preference, ive never heard anything about any liability about videotaping minors. there is all kinda of easter videos with kids, as long as the video is in "good taste" you should be able to video people of any age at a DJ dance or public/private event. i think its turned into a myth, just because briansredd chooses not to video kids.

It is actually a legal thing. Parents sign a no publicity contract and make it so that their student cannot be publicized with pictures or video.

i agree with gotladdertrucks whenever i do photo work for my high school i have to get written permission from the parents to have their child photographed at a sports game.

i never had that at my school, my parents never signed anything and were never asked to. so its a case by case basis i suppose. but its still a myth that it is somehow "illegal" to videotape people under 13? or any age. my contract protects me from any repercussions of videotaping, unless they tell me ahead of time not to videotape.

publicized = exposed a child or someone randomly appearing in the background on a youtube is not considered being publicized. the act of DJing is what is being publicized, and only in the case of where a youtube channel is a "partner" which RRollergod has not yet reached that status.  Therefor he is not being paid for his videos on this channel and therefor anyone appearing in any of his videos up to this point can not be considered publicized, especially without naming anyone specifically.
