  • I jazzed all over myself.

  • When I can't please my girl during intercourse, I make her listen this song at top volume. She moans all the way to 3:21, where she have multiple orgasms. Makes me think of 4th of July seeing her. Thanks, Yoko Kanno, for helping me compesate for my poor sexual skills!

  • @steamside TMI?!

  • @770megaman LOL i agree

  • @steamside O_O

  • Gotta love that Jazz....

  • Best. Intro. Ever.

  • Three Two One Let's Jam B|

  • OST from Cowboy Bebop is made by Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra from Poland. Respect.

  • @The94raza I thought it was created by a group called The Seatbelts and WPO just played their rendition of it.

  • @cmonster67 Errr, not quite. WPO played one song on the OST - "Ave Maria" (the opera from Episode 5). That's about as much work they did on Cowboy Bebop. The Seatbelts did most everything else.

  • This music never fails to give me chills. It's epic like that. *_*

  • If there ever was a need for those 10-hour videos on YouTube, it's now.

THREE MINUTES IS TOO DAMN SHORT.

  • @hotelmario510 You watch cowboy bebop?!

  • @therealfolkblues007 Not yet. I need to.

  • @hotelmario510 yes. Yes you do. Probably has the best OST of any anime I've seen

  • @therealfolkblues007 I've heard most of the music, I've just never seen the show.

  • @hotelmario510 What!! holyshit get on torrent or sumthing now and watch it, seen em all at least four times from when I was thirteen till now, at nineteen, and I've always thought it was the best show of all time =) stilll true =D

  • @kgbwarrrior I will at some point.

  • 6:40A.M: Have to be at work by 7:00 A.M., this song pops up on my MP3 just as I'm getting ready. Challenge fucking accepted.

  • @DIVINCION LOLOL GOT THAT RIGHT

  • i wish my high school band would have played this

  • Yoko Kanno is way better than the useless Quentin Tarentino... She's a goddess!

  • damn what kind of jazz is this?

  • @sourfin not realy bebop is all about improvisation. this song highlights the orchestrated big band aspect more.

  • @probablylikelynot I assumed bebop was just a much more fast paced energetic style of Jazz

  • lmao I remember showing my brother my dance to this song and his face was like o.O and hes just laugh lol id laugh so hard

  • I think I just jazzed in my pants.

  • ok..3..2..1..LETS JAM!

  • Man, this would have been awesome to do in marching band.

  • 3,2,1, lets go

  • 100 thumbs up and i post a vid of me playing this full blast during study hall

  • Fuck. After Gurren Lagann, I was all like man, nothing from Japan can top that. I'm fucking done. Now I hear thisand I'm all FUCK I GOTTASEETHIS.

  • @MegaBlargle u sure shud. it rox

  • what the fuck is a twinlight saga @LUIS35247?

  • the 10 presons who didn't like it's because they like to listen the f u c k i n g shit songs of twinlight saga

  • @LUIS32475 Actually you're using your hatred of Twilight to hate some good music that went onto the soundtracks so yeah you don't know what you're talking about.

  • AWESOME ENDING!!

  • Speeding down the highway blasting this song...

  • This song deserves 3 extra 0 at the end of how many times its been watched

  • Uno de los mejores openings para una serie de anime. Me encanta.

  • @Deusexmachina242 It truly is one of the best isn't it. Also, how the fuck did I know what you were saying if I don't know Spanish?

  • @yadcroy21 Universal Appeal?

  • Man 1: What are you waiting for, let's get out here!

    Get -away driver: Wait...

    *plays song*

  • See you space cowboy...

  • @DIVINCION man it'd be awesome for a mod.

  • I wish this song would play on some zombie game. It would be fucking crazy haha.

  • @DIVINCION Shit, bro. I wish.

  • Line Rider

  • This song is Bebop Fusion at its finest. (No pun intended.)

  • @DIVINCION that would be so awesome

  • this song has Quentin Tarantino written all over it

  • @WildBillHickums Well, considering Cowboy Bebop was partially made out of love for purely American cinema (film noir, sci-fi "B" movies), I can see them getting some kicks out of a Tarantino flick. :P

  • @WildBillHickums

Then you would have to label all of bebop that, and that really is not Quentin Tarantino Trust me he is more of a disco early rock kind of man.

  • @WildBillHickums Fuuuuuuuuuuck no, man! Cowboy Bebop is miles above the senseless bullshit of Tarantino's movies. His movies are fun, but lack substance. Cowboy Bebop is 100% substance.

  • @theonlyred4 Tarantino could do it, he has to step out of his usual range and budget but of any mainstream director and producer he could bring to the table something that would be far better than any other's production. I mean come on, Michael Bay....Bah.

  • ok 3 2 1 lets jam

  • @DIVINCION really?

  • Real jazz that makes you feel like a sir :feellikeasir:

  • @DIVINCION YES! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!!!

  • I feel like The Incredibles stole this in the movie XD Who agrees?

  • @OmNomNomDinoX3

Now that you say it, it really looks like... I never noticed! O.O

  • I think i'm gonna use this song as the inspiration to the opening of one of my novels, may have 2 add a few quotes lol.

And i'm amazed that my comment is still the top comment. I guess zombies and cowboy bebop kind of go together lol

  • "I think it's time we blow this scene. Get everybody and the stuff together. Ok, 3, 2, 1, let's jam." That's what I said to my friends as the cops burst into the bar to break up that fight last week.

  • Would anyone happen to know what specific genre this song is or other songs that are similar to this one? I'm assuming it's some sort of jazz, but I'd like specifics since I know there are multiple branch offs of the jazz genre.

If anyone has recommendations of other similar songs, the main sound I'd like to match is the bass line. Less so the wind instruments but only by a small margin.

  • @Eagleye735495 Its actually called "Bebop" hahahaha! And I just go onto Pandora radio dot com and just typed in bebop and it comes out wif some good songs ;D

  • @GSNAKE187

Thank you very much for the reply. I'll be sure to check out Pandora Radio. I really appreciate your input.

  • @Eagleye735495 I recommend the song "Nutville" by Horace Silver, particularly the arrangement by the Buddy Rich Big Band. The bassline is pretty slamming, and the song has a similar feel to this one.

You might also be interested the song Impressions; I like the Wes Montgomery version, but the original by Coltrane is killer as well.

Lastly, I suggest "Ao no Sakusen" by The Thrill, from the Blue Submarine no. 6 OST. For that matter, anything by The Thrill is worth listening to...

  • the only anime i actually gave a crap about, and then felt like watching a movie.

    it ended and im like...

FK U IM NOT WAITING ANOTHER WEEK FOR THIS

    DAM U ADULT SWIM.

  • See you Around Space Cowboy....Bang

  • You're gonna carry that weight.

  • Yoko Kanno,great composer!

  • That sax is totally awesome.

  • does anyone know what that awesome acoustic song that played when jet chased down rhint?

  • This music reminds me of a 1970s cop drama, like Starsky and Hutch, or The Professionals, or even the Avengers.

I've just started watching the series, and I have to say, it's one of the best anime I've seen.

  • can any oen say 70's chase music xDDD i love how yoko kanno did such a fine job with this sound track this green bird and space lion is just so epic C: this ish my life theme X_X i even made a spike on imvu X_X

  • This music demands cars driving through boxes down alley ways (points for people who've watched Bill Bailey's stand up)

  • -- Insert 70's style car chase scene with ending resulting in the pursuer flying and crashing into a pile of boxes --

  • Ten asshats LOVE the smell of their own farts, and the insular silence their turd nuggets provides as earplugs. This is just fricking awesome!!

  • Dude, this song ends and come to my mind SUNRISE!

  • The only thing close to this is the Baccano opening.

  • best damn opening EVER. nothing compares and thts not kissing ass either. i mean seriously nothing like it. i love it :)

  • i only dislike to make it look like a cig hah i love this song

  • the soundtrack of cowboy bebop is the shit!!

  • Tank! and The Real Folk Blues remember my school days, hahaha,

  • How can 8 people dislike this song? There is nothing to dislike!!! Maybe it's because thay have shit taste in real music.

  • @TheOriginalTrombone

Sounds about right to me :P

  • @TheOriginalTrombone make that 9 people have shit taste in real music... such a shame

  • @theohyeahkoolaid Morons

  • If I'm ever running away or doing something fast paced I'd play this or "sneak chamber" by Tsutchie

  • Play > Smile > Stand Up > Dance > Enjoy Your Life

  • I did my Maths homework. Adding fractions never sounded so awesome.

  • Best anime ever.

  • /watch?v=1ydrZ_n5fn8 play this, turn off sound, use Tank as soundtrack.

  • @ChetzNation You're a dick. But you're also hilarious, so that redeems you.

  • One of the best OSTs ever imo.

  • 3:15 I just came here for this.

  • I think it's time to blow this scene. Get everybody and the stuff together. Okay.. 3, 2, 1, let's jam.

  • Excuse me, I have to go masturbate now.

  • 8 people were run over by a tank.

  • TANK!!!!

  • I have an orgasm whenever I hear this

  • "BANG."

    Greatest one-liner Ive ever heard

  • Reminds me of Lupin.

  • @fan354 The creator likes Lupin the Third, so Spike dressed up a little bit like Lupid.

  • @KrayzieBuddha I can tell. XD This is Lupin when he gets tired of being a thief.

  • @fan354 Spike reminds me more of Jigen (hope I spelled that right). A crossover would be awesome, but that'll never happen.

  • @Slashbash Agreed! Maybe Jigen quit the thieving business and decided to become a fucking space cowboy?

  • @fan354 And got rid of his beard. And decided to stop using a revolver. That's what I love about Spike; he's different enough to be just a tribute and not a rip-off.

  • @Slashbash My brother in law loves this to death, he sings the song to it.

  • @fan354 It's quite impressive to sing a song with no lyrics.

  • @Slashbash Yes, yes it is, he is pretty good with the hums the song and the way he says okay let's do this....3....2...1....lets jam is sick.

  • @fan354 Now THAT'S sick.

  • @Slashbash Yep, he's a big anime fan....he has seen every Bleach episode, every Lupin episode I think, and every Cowboy Bepop episode too.

  • @fan354 I'm mostly a manga fan (I seek out good American comics too). Cowboy Bebop is a good anime to start with for a few reasons; its Western style won't alienate you, it's not to "anime-ish," its short length won't intimidate anyone and the dub is damn good, even for today.

I wanted to hate the series due to all the dick-sucking people give to it, but I couldn't deny that it was a quality series. I do believe it's overrated, but still good, if that makes any sense.

  • @Slashbash

and no matter what u gotta admit, the music is bomb!

  • Adios, Space Cowboy...

  • Eight people are stupid and should die in a fire.

  • Me and my older bro have agreed that if a zombies ever become real and start killing everyone, that we would hold out and listen to this type of music all day. And kill zombies of course. and we would have 3 main songs. We would listen to Tank! when we're escaping or making a run for it, The real folk blues when someone in our group dies. and See you space cowboy when we make our last stand. That, was really freaking stupid

  • @MasterCheif248 Dude your comment had so much epic in it that I just seizured everywhere.

  • @ChrisPayneable Agreed.

  • @MasterCheif248 I'm gonna go ahead and say that that is a sweet ass idea

  • @MasterCheif248 Hope you don't mind if i steal that idea.

  • @MasterCheif248 You should also include Rush in there somewhere. :P

  • @RavenandKidFlash

well of course! we can't listen to the same genre all day, we would probably span across all genres, except like modern mainstream crap lol.

  • @MasterCheif248 Lol. I was talking about "Rush," the song on the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack not the actual genre! xD

  • @MasterCheif248 I swear, someone should make a "Zombie Apocalypse" disc to play when the undead come after us while we get out our BOOMSTICKS! I vote for "Tank!" and "The Beast". And perhaps "Thanatos" if we come across a zombified family member.

  • @MasterCheif248 I hope I end up joining your posse so we can take out them Zombie bastards while this plays. Of course when See you space cowboy starts I'm leaving... Ain't gonna be no last stand for me.

  • @MasterCheif248 Ye obviously there would be a See you in space since no one in the team would die....duh!

  • Comment removed

  • @MasterCheif248 you are my hero <3

  • @MasterCheif248 Yea...it was. There should be no other soundtrack to a zombie apocalypse than frantic screaming, gunshots, and of course the comic relief random hilarious cracks while killing zombies

  • @MasterCheif248 if that were to happen, this song would be the least on your mind. lol!

  • @MasterCheif248 As much as I would like to agree with you. I would rather get many generators and post up on the top of my house with my guitar playing the fuck out of it laughing at the zombies trying to get me. =D

  • @MasterCheif248 It's funny you should say that, because in Left 4 Dead 2, i've made this the song that play's when a Tank appears.

  • @MasterCheif248 you forgot of one last song mate, "gotta knock a little harder" when you find that there's hope!!

  • @MasterCheif248 Thas was just GENIUS

  • @MasterCheif248 W...what? Nice, though.

  • @MasterCheif248 that was rly freaking awesome thx

  • @MasterCheif248 make sure you buy a jericho 941 handgun.

  • @AkimboNinjaPWN

My older brother already has one. Now all we need is some good old fashion 45s. Maybe a Mk 23 for me.

  • @MasterCheif248 new york reload smith and wesson model 19's for me. and a marlin 1894 side rifle, oh yeah.

  • @MasterCheif248 P... Peter?!... Is that you?!

  • @Ozitiho

    ??? uh what?

  • @MasterCheif248 THAT'S LEGIT XD!!!!!!!

  • @MasterCheif248 Assuming you even survive the initial outbreak.

Which, you probably won't. Neither will I for that matter.

  • @MasterCheif248 Brilliant

  • @MasterCheif248 That is really freaking cool

  • 8 people will be having "Bellpeppers and Beef" without the beef tonight for supper.

  • @Agent1W ha nice.

  • @Agent1W hahhaahahahahhaha

  • @Agent1W make it 10 now

  • @MMSOAK Those extra 2 people are going to enjoy a particular "rare lobster surprise" I've been saving in the fridge for a year.

  • @Agent1W oh that just made my day lol. i probably wont read a better comment in my life after reading this.

  • dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun DAT BASS

  • This song should be made the official theme song of Rivet.

  • any one know the official Bass sheet music for this song?

  • Good old days.....

  • 7 people would rather blow the scene and leave their stuff.

  • to the 7 that disliked REALLY?!?!?! you're that retarded ?!?!?

  • @universaljester tone deaf maybe? lol *shrugs*

  • I can't fuckin beleive the english dub for spike was done by the same guy who did orochi maru in Naruto hahah amazing!!!!

  • @MrNikkozo The american voice of spike also did mugen from samurai champloo

  • @KingCrimsonIV well i hafta say he is an incredible voice actor, i like him, i hate it when peopel always go aobut saying Japanese is ALWAYS BETTER. but you know, the English dubs are quite good and if not excellent in some cases. I hafta agree that there are alot of english dubbed naimes athat suck ass, but there are also some that are REALLY good! Such as GunXSword. Wow just amazing.

    Dont you agree?

  • @MrNikkozo lol yeah the way i see it, if the dubs are crappy then the anime itself is most likely crappy

  • @MrNikkozo Point is: original is always better. Even if voices fit, even if the acting is great, you're always missing something of the original.

  • @RegulaVestus to be fair if english is watched first.... it is mentally speaking the original right?

my only complaint about original langauge audio's is that to understand (as of right now, someday this may be rectified) it I need subtitles...

plus Spike without Steve is like cowboy bebop without "Bang", all others are fine (except faye in japanese, eng is definately better) in either language, however music in anime shouldn't be translated in the song only subbed, it's just easier

  • @RegulaVestus Not unless you have a different opinion.

  • @RegulaVestus Depends, look at the Studio Ghibli stuff, redone for the english voices. Works perfectly. Bebop and GITS also are better in English. Akira and ones like that should always be originals though I agree on some counts.

  • @jimmyhayers You always lose something when you translate from one language to another. Granted, you'll probably lose some meaninful tidbits due to translation (in the subtitles) unless you're a japanese speaker, but you'll lose even more nuances in dubbed works. Face it: most people will get the dubbed version because they're either too lazy to read the subtitles (or to learn the language), or xenophobic - in the sense that a foreign language is unfathomable and unconceivable.

  • @RegulaVestus I agree with you in the large part for some things, especially live action but I do think there are a few cases where the English version is just as good if not better, where it has been done properly and not just cobbled together

  • @RegulaVestus I don't think "Unwilling to learn Japanese" counts as lazy. For the most part, people aren't too lazy to read subtitles, they just don't like staring at the bottom of the screen the whole time. Personally I prefer the English version of Bebop simply because Steven Blum does such a good voice-acting job. Though there are obviously a lot of shows out there where the dubbing just isn't good, and they're better with the original audio with subtitles.

  • This is an awesome song, I stay up late enough to hear the opening sequence, then I turn off the TV and go to bed..XD

  • See you space cow
