  • Unbelievable !! Perfectly traditional classical Lao dance !! It sound like heaven on earth !! Thanks Pandashekki for uploading.

  • Very nice, but poor Iu Mien dancer. The traditional outfits could have been better.

  • What a slap on the face for the Iu Mienh dancer. She doesn't even have her "la'sin," which wraps around her wrist. Where are the silver jewelries? Like the fact that the Mien is part of this dance, but the representation is poor.

  • I am one of the tribes in here.

I really like the show with all the different outfits and wish it is more clearer.

  • I noticed that lao peoples are nice, kind hearted, truobled no one. Our cultures are so much enriched with arts, musics, dances, but most importantly, we are harmoneously co-exist with our neighbors, and our environments. We are gentled by nature that is why from our forefathers until today, we were being exploited, enslaved, subjugated by our neighbors, Siamese, Veitnanese, and Chinese, exception to Khemer.

  • @MiracleCrush There are Lao Hmong too.

  • BECAUSE HMONG IS PART OF LAOS

  • we hmong support tha royal lao kingdom not the red communist lao.

  • We can call LAOS united

  • It is a very good job everyone, i am so happy that all lao people in foreing country still value own cultures and traditions, Keep on preserving our lao cultures to show up to the world.

  • my favorite dance out of everything we perform!

  • wow. i see like 3-4 different types of Hmong in that group.

  • lol, I know, I see 3-4 different types of Hmong as well. Very nice. I wish it was really like this in the Kingdom of Laos when Royal King and Queen of Laos were still alive.

  • bs, that's hmong

  • hmm not to discredit your origin but from what I know Hmongs didn't enter laos until the 1900s LanXang predated that. During LanXang there were mainly Lao/thai.

  • Actually Hmong have been in the high hills of Laos along China for as long as we can remember. It wasn't until mid1800s that the Hmong fled to the lowlands of Laos and came into interaction with the Lao people. It's written in Chinese records as to when the Hmong fled high hills China into SE Asia.

  • To those who don't know da history. Hmong people are original migrated from Mongolian, chase away by china during the war.Lao government allow them to live in our country. Now they want to take over our country, claiming lao people r cruel. THAT'S DA FACT!!!!

  • laogirlfresno why are you so upset about Hmong ? They are also Lao people as well as other tribes. Who ever was born in Laos is considered as Lao people and has Lao citizenship. Do you understand ? Please respect every ethnics / tribes in Laos and everyone is equal. Accept the fact would you ?

  • yep with out us HMONG the king would die earlier with his dad. but we Hmong risk many things to save the king of Laos and this was end of WWII and the communist of Laos and Vietnam took our king and we hmong risk many things to save them. if you or anyone dont belive me you hmong young kids go and ask your grandparents i mean the grandpas or other people who is old during the WWII. and also one of my uncle even got to carry the king and my other uncle got to carry the kings dad.

  • @12563longkhang What do you mean WE HMONG? Well, Hmong ppl are also Lao ppl. Just one of the diff tribes in Laos. There are also diff Hmong ppl from other south eastern Asian countries. And we were not communist, Vietnam came into our country, took over for a while and made us communist.

  • My grandfather fought in the Vietnam war. I visted Laos before and there are still some Viet ppl there. They live there and also speak Lao. We are now Lao people's Democratic Republic. I'm not tryna be mean or act smart here, just putting the facts out there.

  • What a beautiful sight, different Lao ethnics came together and have a good time and enjoy themselves. I love it.

  • I love this dance so much ! it means a lot for all Lao people !

  • oh i ment befor the communist took over laos. those years are the best. becuase the hmong and every tribes are like friends and they all love each other. until 1975. that's is the worst year ever!!!!!!! my dad and my mom miss laos so much even my grandpa and my grandma. all of our hmong miss laos and miss living up in the moutian and fresh air. those are the best year so yeah. miss laos alot.

  • man so much people who live in laos in the 17s and the 18s man. those are the best year ever in the country of laos but not anymore now snif snif snif

  • ? what do you mean best years of Laos in 17s and 18s you mean 1970s and 1980s those are the years after the communist takeover 1975. Those are the worst years with so many Lao diaspora.

  • maybe he means 1700s and 1800s idk

  • hmm that wouldn't make sense as well because during that time Laos was part of Siam. It was held as a city state and was broken apart, much history has been lost..so I'm not that was a peaceful time as well??

  • Wow. People are really good at dancin`.

  • Is this an extended version? I don't remember seeing that intro... However, its still nice. Very peaceful, I love it =)

  • not that i can think of. this was the only dance that year that i saw my sisters in... so i am not sure.

  • Beautiful Dance...wow....how cools....

  • to the person who uploaded this clip, why don't you tag it, hmong and mienh too...

  • Because its a Lao dance with Hmong and Mien clothing.

  • because the person doesnt need to. the Tittle is Dance of the Lao tribes.. which means all different ethnicities living in Laos not just the Lao people

  • omg, i love it.
