@okfinema Actually, I created Nigel as a mixture of Pierce Brosnan's Bond and his Remington Steele. In fact, when I wrote "Absolutely Smashing" in late 1995, I drew inspiration for Nigel from Brosnan's performance in "Goldeneye". There's a moment in that movie where Bond is sitting in Onatopp's car, makes a witty remark with a smile, turns away slightly, then suddenly turns back and knocks her out with a deadly look on his face. That's Nigel -- both charming and dangerous.
I can see James Bond with just a little Flint and Napoleon Solo also.
