You need to follow the teachings of a spiritual leader who has good Biblical understanding. Rod Parsley is a sorry excuse of a theologian and a pastor. A number of good commentators, who do not approve of homosexuality, state the context of this passage is the worship of other gods. Men had sex with men in pagan temples as an act of worship. Romans Chapters 1-3 are not about homosexuality. Those chapters show a universal need for salvation. The order of events is people reject God, they worship idols, and they have same-gender sex. I watched a post of his. Given his comments, the tone of his voice, and the extreme nature of some of his comments, I find it hard to picture him as some victim. If he is a victim, he is a victim of his own actions.

My concern is that people listening to his sermons, seeing his sermons, or seeing the video clips will come to see Christians as a bunch of blood thirsty people, who want to kill Islamic poeple. Saying America was created to destroy Islam is highly inflammatory. McCain distanced himself from Parsley with good reason. The Islamic world is very concerned McCain could get in office, because of Parsley's comments. He did not say, "I think America is being called to destroy the extreme elements of Islam." If he is being taken out of context, it is because of poorly worded sermons and public statements. He needs to more carefully craft his sermons. I still believe he intended to offend.

Pastor Parsley doesnt judge or hate anyone. I have personally seen him love and care for those of differing faiths and lifestyles including those from the homosexual community.
