aerodynamics is one issue,BUT you also have to worry about tires coming apart. I talked to the driver of this truck at a airshow,they run stock michelin 22.5's ,they have to shave 80 lbs of rubber off each tire,then spin it on a machine at 400 mph then x-ray it.If 1 belt is broke in the tire it is discarded and the process is started over,he stated roughly 1 out of 10 tires made it to the truck,however they run many runs on the same tires.
