The people who are defending the film really, really, REALLY need to see the play. The film's okay for an Americanised adaptation, but the original really is a masterpiece of English farce.
hahaha i remember watching this awesome movie on some pay channel HBO or something, i never knew the title the movie had all ready started, so i went down to the video store, rented some action movies and cabaret wich i thought was this movie not Lisa Minnelli's, hahaha me and my girl were cracking up now I'm definitely getting this movie it's hella funny
I acted in this play at university. Sometimes we had to stop to wait for the audience to stop laughinh, and we were just amateurs. What a brilliant script. It was fucking hard to play, though. A constant mess, a lot of synchronized actions to remember.
The movie is wonderful, and I remember it played in the theaters for two weeks. I didn't get a chance to go. The trailer's a bit misleading; the critics were very unkind to Noises Off. But a movie with John Ritter, Christopher Reeve, both at their funniest: "We've got the place entirely to ourselves!" And Carol Burnett and Michael Caine. What a cast. And watching this movie doesn't spoil seeing the play at all. Makes it more enjoyable, I thought.
If I love the script and the theatrical stage version was hilarious- should i watch this film? or will it ruin the brilliantness of the stage version??
@iLoveKatiB The movie isn't just slapstick, it is actually very clever. Anyone who has been in the theatre business would appreciate this movie/play very much, because it is just so relatable to the backstage of theatre. I definitly recommend to watch this. :)
Loved this movie! It made me laugh so much. I think I had tears in my eyes and I couldn't take breath because it just kept making me laugh. If someone could only upload it in parts. I could really enjoy it again. Thank you for putting up the trailer! :)
I used to watch this movie eveynight to fall asleep too not because it was boring but because I have to watch the same things everynight to fall asleep. I actually loved this movie..
My school is performing this tomorrow and I'm going to see it...oh gee XD

Ugh this trailer makes it look so mediocre when it in fact is brilliant.

Watch the movie. Carol Burnett alone is worth the watching. The theatre scenes are captured quite well. Hilarious.
