@ralphyboy25 She is Aija Puurtinen - who has been acting as a replacement singer every now and then - during maternity leaves and such. She also produced the 'Miero' album for Värttinä.

She is better known as a long time singer and bass player in the rhythm'n'blues/rock/blues band 'Honey B. and T-Bones":

I appreciate her work in general - but regarding Värttinä IMHO she is not at the skill level of the regulars and her voice doesn't fit too well with them either.

@EneriGiilaan I followed your Honey B links, along with a few others. All of I can say is I never stop being amazed by what I find on Youtube. Cowboy hats, slide guitar and bluesy country style singing.....Finnish style... Not too bad of an act.

Day after day, I read so many YT posts, where several Europeans are quick to rail against the "Americanization" of their culture..... yet 'Honey B and the T-Bones' seem to be fully embracing it..........I agree.. she is no 'Mari' replacement.
