good, but they kind of need to correct the fact that ur essentially driving a hydrogen bomb. with enough mistreatment, these engines could prove unreliable and dangerously volatile. a good concept, but needs to be made 100% idiot-safe
Hi cussler7, thanks for watching! You know gasoline is not safe, either.
Hydrogen will not stick to any surface and burn like gasoline can. It will escape up to the air quickly in case of leaking because it's lighter than air. The hydrogen tank in those cars store only about a few kilograms of hydrogen. If you call it a bomb, it's only about half of the energy as the regular gasoline tank 'bomb' that we carry all the time when we drive a regular car.
Thank you for sending me the video. What an amazing car! It looks like it sure does make no engine sound. Very quiet! I wish I could be there for a ride!^^ Btw, it looks very cold out there in NY! Here in CA, I still only wear T-shirt and short pants^^
Hi Min, thanks for watching! When the car first starts up, it doesn't have the normal noise of the engine starting up. And I have to wait a few more seconds before I can swift gears and drive.
Driving is almost the same as a regular car. I was told that they made it as close to the regular car as possible to make you feel comfortable with the new Fuel cell cars. After all, the only difference is Fuel!
I've checked with experts. Hydrogen is much lighter than air! In case the container breaks, chances are it will quickly escape straight up to the air and will not stick on anything. Unlike gasoline which will stick and stay there and burn on many objects.
Hi Bill, the acceleration of this car is just fine.
We can't accelerate and drive fast at the school bus loop and the school parking lot with children all around. I later drove this car at a local highway with the speed of 55 mph, and the acceleration seemed pretty normal to me.
