you should come fishing in the red river in manitoba and catch tons of 20 pound big channel cats in one night. might sound like crazy talk but its true
@999outdoors If I come to Manitoba, it will be to gold prospect in Flin Flon ... in Summer. :^) (Had to toss that in, long long time ago I knew a wonderful gal from Flin Flon.)
@jk22222sd In many places here, the ponds and creeks swam with turtles and they are a real nuisance. In fact in places where people fish a lot, the turtles will converge and chase the bait and dive and eat it. Hot dogs are a pretty popular catfish bait here ... and the turtles go crazy over it. :^)
theres a little honey hole back in ohio where i live and you can sit there all day long with small bread balls and catch 9 inch bluegill and greek chubs. i once walked out with 3 stringer fulls of big bluegill and chubs
what did u mean when u said u would have to "walk home" if u didnt catch a fish?? uve said that in a coulpe of ur vids and im just wondering why u r saying that
@TopAZangler I hadn't thought of that...looked on line...yes like that. I think Doc likes the pole because he's fishing cats in eddy pools right by shore in amongst bushes.
There is a spinner casting rod popular around here that is about 18 inches (half the length of the Shakespeake Microspin) that my acquaintance Doc uses to catch catfish out of the Haw River near his home.
@arkansasfisherman Yes! This video was shot 4 miles from my place ... inside the city limits of Raleigh, North Carolina. In my county we have large lakes and damns created for drinking water supplies... We are very very lucky they made them big enough to be good for fishing and boating too.
you are soo funny omg. i subscribed you know.

When you catch a turtle by mistake, do you feel that exciting feeling like you get when you catch a fish?

Persian2DaMax 6 months ago
@Persian2DaMax Oh that was when I knew even less about fishing than I do now. It's a strike indicator.

you should change to some smaller circle hooks or even treble u wont miss any bites
kingkat94 2 years ago
I like that suggestion: I looked at what circle hooks are and I think that's the right idea.
I had seen large ones at the store, but no small ones. I'm going to look for a shop that has them.
Thank you!
