  • yeah...something about massive having more flow with their moves which is my preference. Although..korea has always been way more technical/physically demanding freezes and power moves. I just find these days good flow and flavour in a crew is rare in high level bboying. Massive wins IMO for style and beats.

  • In addition...massive relies on being a team. If they all went 1 on 1 against expressions they get rocked. However, it is awesome that being a "team" can elevate a bboy crews game.

  • solo wise expressions did better than massive. just massive looked more like a team or a crew.

  • I'm not trying to jump on Koreans, but I really don't like Massive Monkees' style at all. But I also don't really like Wake-Up's style, just that move he does into air-chair. I'd say it wasn't that sick of a battle, sadly.

  • hater lol

  • how you bboy has nothing to do with race you guys are stupid

  • Dope battle no matter who won. Just another clip of why Expressions would take out any crew today if they stayed together :( Love MassiveMonkey's routines...always original!

  • I don't think they would, if they kept all their good dancers they would no doubt. But by the time they broke up, Tachyon was one of the only good b-boys left.

  • you guys are morons, and the reason i have this name is because i could not have another name. anyways, besides arguing with people who probably have no lives and jus watch videos all day, koreans some do have style others jus walk around and bust out. but whatever, its not like i am even close, well actually i am to that power, but still far from it. lol

  • well. i am korean so i know how korean people do there power moves like beak zero nine bruce lee but

they have styles in them i think only reasons that korean win in there battle is there styles and there teamwork. and people say korean bboys only do powers

but if you see bboy born you will change your mind

for example bboy luigi =] he is pro =] he does everything

and he has his own style

koeran people, they just made there own

  • Haha, but in this video, they do almost not footwork or floorwork.

  • well, americans do show more style then koreans. but no one can really say much about koreans power, they own in power. majority.

  • you have no say, look at your name haha

  • oh i am so sorry man gook, you probably jack off watching guys or something and gook everywhere,

  • HAH good one lol bet you like fighting over the net XD

  • It's so funny how power move became a gymnastic move when korea started owning at it. What's up with that bullshit. Of course foundation is golden when it comes to bboying, but power moves are also part of bboying. Stop being jealous and braggin about foundation just because they cant do power moves

  • what's the first song called

  • get the "2 OH 6 step" then talk cuz they are one of the best out there and they won by far....

  • expression won the only reason why massive won is because they are american and in bboying amerikan have always a + by the judges look every freestyle session etc

  • MM's routines, while usually really good, are a little sloppy and not as impressive here...and the thing is if you do routines over and over, they lose their effectiveness. You say 'use all 4 members', and that's what EX did...combined, they all displayed good dancing, footwork, freezes and power, all of which was executed more cleanly than anything MM did. Strong and diverse individual efforts are a lot more impressive than lackluster routines. Just my opinion, though.

  • wow so many fucking Korean dickriders its not even funny

  • korean bboys are all about power moves with no rhythm

  • bboy born?

    u call that no rhythm?

    if your bboy

    respect other bboys

  • i guess. anyways fuck you

  • the white dude in the 05 jersey fucking killed on that one! holy shit..

  • lol....theyre korean

  • Lol my bad.

  • I THINK that they both gave it their best.. and they all use the best of their ability to make that happen.. what more could u expect.. hip hop/bboying is to express ourself as well as the beat of the music.... sure MM got the routine going. thats cool and Expression got the powers and all.. that is two different style.. its hard to judge but yea i enjoy it.. i dont know what else to complain about

  • Uhh gymnastics??? If you call powermoves, freeezes and top rock then I would agree- but that my frienc is bboying not gymnastics. Massive Monkeys is soo boring routine, routine, routine, routine, just like in every battle they do. Give it up for expressions it wasn't a tie, Expressions took it easily

  • Massive won hands down, bboying isn't about doing gymnastics, Massive had a more variety of moves and more flavor. They deserved the title that year!

  • It's so funny how power move became a gymnastic move when korea started owning at it. What's up with that bullshit. Of course foundation is golden when it comes to bboying, but power moves are also part of bboying. Stop being jealous and braggin about foundation just because they cant do power moves

  • you have 4 ppl. why not use them all? point is massive monkees won

  • All i saw from Massive Monkees was routines, they weren't really freestylin, Expression killed them in that.

  • Very boring. If you judged that battle from all the foundations of bboying, Expression took them in every aspect hands down exept routines, if routines are considered. Lol korean dick rider?? mate get your head out of your ass so you can see the battle again. Expression >>>> MM. If expression were american they would've beaten MM.

  • Hmm, flava?? dancing?? all i saw from MM was routines. The first one wasnt even synchronised despite the easy top rocking etc!! They also repeated all the routines they used in UK bboy champs 04. Twixx just did his usual flips. Most of MM had poor top rockin, some nice down rock. Expression on the other hand rinsed them in power (Eagle1), freezes Wake up, tachyon and al/or street. Footwork tachyon rinsed them. MM had nothing but routine after routine.

  • kass4ever it's eagle1

  • Gotta give it to MM. They have total synchronicity and the often forgotten essential DANCING.

  • hey who is best powermover in expression?

  • i think the massive monkees were gd all in all because they did the teamwork thing - afterall the whole championship is based on 4 on 4 so some sort of teamwork routines would be needed but wen the massive monekys did throw in some solo moves i didnt think they were..."flash" enough

  • man i gota give it up to both crews they were both dope as hell. although i love korean bboys i gota give it mm man. although they werent freestylin as much as expression they had more routines and when they did freestyle they did good but i think the koreans beat them on that part

  • u guys are korean dickriders. mm smoked them. expression crashed like 20 times.

  • Wake up slipped minorly twice, which he transitioned into a freeze. Eagle also had a slip up while doing his blind airtracks set, but he restarted and executed perfectly. Ur an idiot

  • massive won. expression had nothing but power moves man. massive used all the elements of bboying and thats hip hop for you.

  • all elements? please list them. i saw more from expression.

  • gotta give it up for my cousin

  • I prefer Expression's flavor. Especially Wake-Up's.

  • hmmm. massive monkeys looked like they were doing just breakdancing like expressions. they just did like dancing to rhytm once in one of their routines. other than that, both teams looked the same

  • i can see why massive won.. seeemed like they had whole package.. not just fancing tricks. actually some real dancing.

  • YEs massive had real dancing, but expressions had real dancing as well. Did you not see they also did footwork and uprocks, and they didn't just bust out only power sets. I agree Massive won, but you can't say Expressions weren't really dancing, because they were

  • expressions was bein crash masters haha

  • expression won in my eyes

  • Monkees definitely had more B-Boy flavor moves and originality, which is more impressive to me and what is going to set you apart.

  • Please stop dickriding.

  • first of all they both nice. but when you start lookin more like a gymnast its extremely impressive skill wise but there is a reason i don't watch mens gymastics in the olympics.

  • i think both teams did a really good job. massive did all the elements that mangook said, but i believe that korean bboys mix style with dynamic moves more often rather than footwork and what not. that's why alot of people get mixed opinions.

  • massive is sick im happy thay won.my boy JD AKA(TWIX)GOT NUMBER ONE B-BOY IN THE WORLD THAT SAME YEAR.MONKEYS PUT IT DOWN THAT NIGHT.JUST LIKE MANQOOK SAID THEY USED ALL THE ELEMENTS OF B-BOYING.THATS WHY THAY WON.....rep sea-town.high hats.

  • for those who dont understand why massive won, its because they use the elements of bboying more, meaning, up rock, style, foundation, original bboy techs, alot of people are interested in dynamic moves, but not much u see that are breakin in the original bboy form

  • Naw man... First of all there was no uprock. Expression Crew had only one powerset and that was pretty much it from eagle. Expression pulled off more footwork. What I saw was a lot of team routines from Massive Monkees, which means that they weren't freestyling for sure.

  • are u serious massive monkeys won? they didnt do $h!t!!! are u serious.
