i love getting home to ireland... get alone with myself. i had a constant headache when i got back to london after 2 weeks in ireland. felt SO crowded, noised up, stressed, pressured.
And its not who i am, at all... getting somewhere that somehow resonates with me, helps me really inhabit who i am.
this might sound daft but, i do think each person has a type of environment that just suits them.. Lol.. some ppl might like it flat-vast horizons. I like lumps bumps, oceans and hideaways :-)
I was out in Kemmerer Wyoming in 1978.... it's changed a LOT since then. It was like a ghost town back then. SPARSE. There was NOTHING for miles. My dad said we were going to eat roadkill and I believed him. So many pickups with guns mounted on the cab and dogs in the back. Very nice! I love to travel through the NE when the purple blue flowers are blooming in the summer.
I've driven across country 9 times. Nebraska is INSANELY flat and boring. Hawks every mile on posts and tons of corn. I always hate getting to Cheyenne,Wyoming heading east cuz I know my favorite part of the trip from Sacramento is over =(. Alaska is beautiful. I'd like to live there. It is very rugged and would be a tough life but damn if you aren't free up there!
Your totally right, Wyoming is an awesome place, I've been there about a Dozen times and its just Great, Were lucky to have a state like wyoming, Even luckier if you live there.
The winters in wyoming are harsh the cornfields in nebraska go on forever. I would like to live any place that is not densely populated. I love mountain streams and valleys. A place with few lights where you can really see the stars. Awesome.! Critters running free in their natural habitats, rivers full of native fish. People who are friendly and wave when you drive by. The way America used to be every where.
People are less friendly in crowded areas because of the effort involved with seeing so many people. So they learn to not pay attention to other people. Look at how the average city dweller behaves toward the homeless. I will look right at them, empathize with them, imagine what misfortunes the transient must have suffered through to wind up living like that. City dwellers won't make eye contact or even talk with the homeless. I made a bunch of city friends uncomfortable when I conversed w/ one.
Wyoming is awesome. I wish i could move there. If Wyoming ever succeeds from the union in order to use the constitution as law again, I would move so fast yer head would spin.
TEXAS: rolling pine forests, low lands, coastal beach fronts, desert, prairie, and yes mountains, the lower Rockies, and Plano Canyon, the "little Grand Canyon". Texas, diverse in people, culture, and industries, some of the largest oil refineries in the world, largest number of active duty military, Sovereign, 2nd Amendment protectors!! "God Bless Texas!!" And most importantly, "Don't Mess With Texas!!" Good video. Peace2U!!
yeah but bro, not tryning to say your state is no good, just dosen't have the feel like wyoming, and anyways every time i talk about my birth place i always hear about texas, you can fit 3 texas's in alaska, and wyoming has 500,000 in the whole state!!!
