@chino555 Yes, but these RAM are not originally bought for this netbook. Originally these RAM are for a AMD Fusion E-350 nettop, and for experimental purpose I've tried (in this video) to use them in ASUS 1215N and it works
@slkong thank you so much, I've heard that you have to update your bios to have the 8gb support, have a windows 64bit Os, and update your video drivers to use dual channel version's of this type of ram " may work with dual channel, but will only run in one individual channel each". Thank you so much for the experiment, know people like me can accomplish this. I found out you can use "Corsair 8GB 1333mhz PC3-10666 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM Laptop Memory Kit CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9" and will work too.
@sqeker09 My notebook comes with Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit English version, while my friend's 1215N comes with a Home Premium 32-bit Chinese version. So you better ask before buying one. Basically I don't care about the version as I can have Win 7 Enterprise through my campus
@pavy415 it says he has 2 4gb rams installed.

I have the 1215B and the only "bay" available to upgrade is for RAM. On the 1215N, is the hard drive easily accessible?
magnoid 4 months ago
@magnoid You need to remove the palm rest and also the keyboard in order to replace the HDD, which will void the warranty seal label

also does asus provide all the drivers for this netbook like the function key driver etc.

Nice!!! Mmm not sure why Windows Exp index gives a 3.2 abd 3.7 for Graphics and Gaming respectively. I have a Kingston SSD (V125) - it gets only 5.9.
Sandunsa 7 months ago
@Sandunsa Try to do the test again by connecting their 1215N to a TV through HDMI, that will "force on" the ION graphics

whats the windows experience index now

hi what kind of ram have you installed?
thanks
alexthegreat1978 7 months ago
I thought that the Atom processor was the limitation on RAM, not the BIOS.

@zunehdrocks Asus says that the 0902 BIOS is for ASUS M3A78-EMH. Will it work if I just download it?
zunehdrocks 4 months ago
@zunehdrocks Go to find the notebook ASUS EEEPC 1215N under 12-inch
Select Win 7 64-bit and click on "BIOS", where you can find BIOS 0902
