I guess it is. For me, a good poet will not only say what he wants, but leave it open to interpretation by unlocking layers of meaning with very few words. Sadly people here seem to appreciate the one line=one meaning idea. "Ye misra nahin hai" does a bad job of double entendre, my father writes better poetry in his spare time.

This is a strictly-ok poet. He may be competition to Ludhianvi/Jigar/Faraz, but he doesn't even compare to Faiz, much less Ghalib.
