One last point - Hoss's effort in Game 3 was a worse call and just as important a goal. RW go on to the next series, Ducks look to next year. Do I feel bad for them? No. Why? Because they are a bunch of thugs who tried everything dirty to win games. They got what they deserved in the end. Talent won out over bullying.

I am a total RW fans and my opinion is that the call could have gone either way. Since it is at the discretion of the refs on the ice at that point it is not arguable. It was a garbage goal, but it was a goal. Bottom line is the Ducks had the opportunity to beat the Wings and didn't do it. If they hadn't been playing from behind the whole night then they might have pulled it off. I got a lot of respect for that team based on this series. Time to get over the controversy.

I can't beleive the ducks fans are crying about this. Every call went your way.....every time the puck hit hiller it was blown dead (even though it was clearly not covered) yet osgood had 3 and 4 second whistles. And dare i mention game 3 when hossa scored.....Yea that was a goal too. Detroit had the officials against them for 7 games and still came out on top....just goes to show you how good they really are

alright well if you aren't retarded like sexydarin and zettersyuk, you'd notice Cleary's stick is under Hiller's skate, while the puck was by Hiller's calf. so either they could have called the puck dead, although he wasn't completely on it, or called goalie interference, cuz you can't just shove a goalie into the net with the puck.

Cleary never touched the puck. Puck was under Hiller's pad and Cleary pushed his pad. Happened really fast, Detroit gets away with a lot of goalie interference, this might be the greatest example yet.
