Yes copyright laws. I beleive i could use their own law against them. Here it goes: When we buy an album be CD, vinyl whatever format, they claim that 90% of the cost is for buying the right to own the rights to the album. So in other words if a have a copy of such an album the following copies & formats should only cost like 10%-a few dollars since i already OWN the right to such an album. Boy they would freak if this info got out! Like VividlyConquered said we get more exposed to their music!

Of course, I've bought every single Tool album even after I've listened to them, why? because I appreciate what they've done. Same with many other bands.
