Was that like, half inside or something? good job getting that thick of a smoke from it. Mine are always really fast burning and with only thin smoke.
use less oxidiser and more fuel. the more oxygen, the faster and more complete the burn. smoke is created when there is not enough oxygen to burn all the fuel up.
It was done inside a screened-in porch, so the smoke can still dissipate.
