  • I dropped from 2 floor way faster:)

  • lol i like to use a wine opener

  • @nmar00 it works

  • but you just cooked the coconut by putting in the oven!

  • The best video I saw to open a coconut safely and quickly.

    Thanks for posting.

  • theres 2 other ways to open or crack a coconut

1st thru the hole put a dinamite into tht nd blast (boooooooooooooooooooooooom) there u go coconut meat :D

2nd take tht coconut out side nd use ur damn .9mm pistol , carfully pull the triger there u go COCONUT

    lmao

  • awww look at its face (O mouth ) OoO lol soo cute

  • 20 minutes to open a coconut???

  • Great .... Thanks

  • i put coconut to tea towel and smash it agains the ground or wall... works perfectly ;)

  • easiest way to crack a coconut is to cut inside the soft eye with scissors and apply pressure on the outer shell from the inside and comes off like a charm.i never cracked a coconut before but guess im a natural

  • got mine on the firs eye but the juice was fuckin oily like most of the cheap ass mexican coconuts i get im getting quality ones, fucking mexico

  • go damn, i just spent 20 minutes in my backyard using a corner of the brick wall =/

  • This is very inefficient. In the time it takes you to puncture the eye and drain the coconut, you can crack open several coconuts by using the blunt side of a cleaver around the middle -- just hold it over a bowl to catch the liquid. In Thailand in the markets they crack a coconut open in about 7 seconds with a machete.

  • I have been told I eat food weird. I guess I open bananas backwards, I eat a kiwi with the skin and now I just ate the skin of a coconut, lol I learn something new every day. I just used a pointed screwdriver and a small axe to open mine or you could just get chuck Norris to yell at the thing.

  • Forget the oven.

    1 - Screwdriver

    2 - Hammer

    3 - Knife

    4 - Peeler

  • me and my nan tryed this and it didn't work at all getting the milk out workd but not the oven part

  • I once threw a coconut down the stairs. It cracked open, but then everything was drenched in coconut water. If I only had known that one of the three "eyes" can be poked...

  • @ZavorXS I just threw my coconut down the stairs after letting the milk out. Worked wonderfully

  • Hot? I don't think so cold is much better

  • @princeicio Agreed. Fresh, uncooked is best. More delicious and more nutritious.

  • not three eyes actually they're two with a mouth as well!

  • just smack the coconot in a circular direction around the coconot vertically. jeez

  • haha :) your smile at the end made my day :P

  • a coconut peeler will work also in less than 20mins.

  • If it's sweet and coconutty it's good lol

  • thanks baldy

  • I'd rather have a cold coconut than a hot one.

  • your so cool man, thanks for the lesson. keep up the good work!

  • thank you it was simple and clear

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!! i needed that help the milk was yummy

  • I'm kind of disappointed. Usually I'm stuck on a beach or somewhere with loads of coconuts but no tools when I want to open a nut.

  • Thanks a lot, it helped! :)

  • should see the Polynesian open the coconut with one hit with a rock ,it splits in half and it won,T shed the milk

  • I can understand which one is the soft eye by just looking at it. I don't need a screwdriver for that. And millions of Indians can do that.

  • @sunil3OO

Why not share something that you know instead of just boasting about what you know? That would be more helpful.

  • @jsluvsall yes. among the three eyes one eye is bulged towards outside that is the third eye or soft eye. you can easily remove meat there.

    watch?v=sDP2sRhncJY

  • @anoopkashyap07 countless videos on 'How to break coconut' here in youtube.. LOL...! I think all Indians watching this video are laughing.

  • hahaha.. funny video!

  • @anoopkashyap07 how can I crack a green coconut and not spill milk?

  • @anoopkashayap07 how can I open a green coconut without spilling the milk?

  • @anoopshyap07 how can I open a green coconut and not spill the milk???

  • @anoopkashyap07 Thanks for sharing how cool you are. We're all really impressed with your 20 second coconut opening skills. I wish you idiots would quit talking about the Indians and how they do it. Are you saying I should go out a grab a rock to open up the coconut so I don't disappoint the Indians??? The other reason for putting it in the oven is to make getting the meat out easier. If you can only criticize a video with a stupid comment go do something else with your miserable life

  • I can open Coconut in 2:40 mins :P

  • oh wow

u dont need to bake it and kill some of the nutrients, just bang on it with a hammer a few times and it will crack open

  • The coconut has been owned

  • When i got my dad to get me my first coconut, we didnt know how to open it at first, then he split it wit an axe on our balcony, LMAO.

  • @gunut4 ahahahhaah that made me laugh

  • @gunut4 lol my dad took a hammer to it and it took ten minutes to get the sucker open!

  • This video was verrrrrrrrry help! Thanks a lot!!!!

  • helloooo, there's no meat inside coconuts!

  • @voxelboy Lmao, are you serious ?

  • @noodleoo69 lol i guess this is bad news for vegetarians!

  • @voxelboy The white part is called "meat"... What were you expecting? A steak to fall out?

  • Thanks you so much!

    or only to crack it?>

  • this helped me SO much!!!!!!! thank you Ian

  • wow....great!

  • those are old coconuts , some sells young coconuts which is kinda white color then rather brownish

  • cool video!

  • good tutorial. We don't usually do that in Asia., It's manual indeed. Very informative..

  • Is coconut meat real meat?

  • offcourse not... hes just saying the layer of white inside as meat...

  • coconut meat???

  • I know that in kenya, they have a trick for cracking them smoothly with bare hands and a rock. I am sure it is the same wherever coconuts are not imported.

But we in the west need two tools, an oven and a video explaining how to do it.

  • thats true!

  • @mandokamine can you help by telling us the kenyan way.
