It's true. They changed it. They now have another 60-80 years to play around with people's minds before hardcore believers start to ask questions and have doubts again.
Though I have to believe that there will be plenty of quiet skepticism surrounding this change.
There'd better be some skepticism. For cryin' out loud, how many times can they change one doctrine in just a period of a few years before people start to catch on?

I feel out of the loop with these issues now, and in many respects, relieved to be so.
You know yourself, the concept of "new light" satisfies the broad majority of active JWs.
When I studied during 1990, I was informed by my JW peers that it was improbable for the system to extend beyond 1995.
