Hi Tadashimori. I'm glad to see that someone wants to fold my models and tries to solve my crease patterns. However I have ambivalent feelings about that movie because you do not show the correct way of folding that model. The crease you achieved by consecutive angle bisections differs from the correct crease position. Your method althogh gives quite good aproximation is wrong about 1,51 degree :) and theoretically your modules should not fit the cube on which the model is built.

Thanks for showing this! I found his "fold pattern" diagram online but didn't know how to make the piece. For those who have trouble connecting the 6 pieces...first hold each shape together (curved up with the folds in it's "final shape") with paperclips on each mid-point fold to hold it in place. Then...you can easily match up how the pieces fit (b/c they are in their final shape and not loose). Paper clip the wings. After it's all clipped, then remove 1 by 1 and fit modules together.

i love origami but i have no idea why-modular is my favorite. Modular origami is just more work i guess and it's easier to make something look super cool if you've got lotsa pieces, like in this video.

that is Portuguese by the way people. That is very similar to spanish. I speak spanish and i understand what it is. but i mute this vid, because he doesn't talk and also i don't need to hear paper folding lol... just turn up music on itunes and mute the vid. :)

I was able to complete this model, though it wasn't the easiest to put together. I used heavier weight paper (computer printing paper) which is less flexible when assembling the model. I held the pieces together with a clothespin until I added the last piece. From then it has stayed together without the clothespins.
