Unless you really want a fancy ass looking keyboard, then Blackwidow Ultimate is better than this Logitech.

bought this, love the customisation, love the screen, love the macro keys and the light show, but it's a pity that some of the keys are so hard to push; and this space bar...so wobbly D: not a very good touch-typing keyboard. plus the development of apps for this thing hasn't quite taken off too well. in retrospect, i guess i don't exactly regret buying it...but i wish it had good quality mechanical keys with less force required to actuate instead..

The touchscreen is pretty good to, but it get broken quite easy.

it has 9 more programmable keys and an onscreen keyboard, you should be able to find them both at a $60 price, and i've seen the g13 for as little as 20 dollars after rebate.

also this has Onboard memory so you can store your settings and move them to another pc without having to set up everything, the nostromo has NO such setting.

still there are others to compete with but that's where google comes in lol

When have you ever caught yourself using the lcd screen? And dont lie to me bro ;-) No one uses macrokeys. They are to far away. Changable light is cool. But to buy it for that reason is like buying an old car from the 80's with changeable neon lights under the chassis instead of buying a mercedes.

@MegaMCskittles Compared to a mechanical keyboard, then yes, it is crappy to type and play on. For me i should say, and most people too. Have you tried a mechanical keyboard? If you have, then you will understand me. :) I highly recommend you do so if you haven't. Logitech g19 is way overpriced for the quality of the board. If you want to pay 200$ for a keyboard, dont buy a cheap rubber dome one. You can get a mechanical keyboard with much better quality for that price.

Mechanical keyboards are waay superior to rubber dome keybaords. And if you pay that much for a rubber dome keyboard, i will laugh at you. the quality is bad compared to mechanical and they are literally ripping you off.

But they can get away with it because fanboys will buy just because logitech made it. You can get a mechanical keyboard for the same price, witch will give you much more pleasure typing and gaming. And the quality is much better. The keys on mechanical keyboards last in average 10 times as long as rubber dome.

It's just a convenience. You obviously don't need to buy it if you don't want to. I had the money and a few of the keys on my G15 broke, so I bought one. If I'm going to spend the money why not go all the way, right?
