The best thing about this scene, to me, is that the lights that appear around the pedestal near the Thousand-Year Door appear around a landmark that you probably passed 50+ times while playing and never thought anything of it.

And I just like the sound effects that plays when they appear. :P

I was so damn excited when I heard this! From when I first started playing this, it was my favorite Mario game (I have arguments with myself about if it's the best game ever or if another is).

It was the end. Years of hard work, loosing hope, getting pissed.... all lead up to this!

And it took me a year or two to beat the Shadow Queen.

BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!!

A top favorite for me. This theme makes you wanna keep your hopes up. At first I came up with a name for this theme and called it: "Hope And Faith". It's like being filled with new hope. It's telling something like: "Stand your ground. Don't give up. You will stand victorious. You must keep on fighting til' you make it to the top strong." It gives you courage all the way.

i thought that bonetail would be harder than the shadow queen, but it ended up being one of the easiest bosses, just have quick change badge, have goombella have multibonk, and mega rush p, then goombella enters the room with 1 hp left, swap positions let her use it then switch partners so she doesnt get attacked, then swap again multibonk, and switch partners, shadow queen was hardest for some reason this time, idk why

I didn't care about any of that. What I mainly didn't like about pm2 was the story. It was just awful. I mean, a thousand year door? BORING! And bowser didn't even have anything to do with the game, really. I mean, mp64 and spm had much better storylines if you ask me. That's pretty much it, though. The gameplay, and final battle were awsome in pm2.

And a thousand year door is pretty cool. 4 heroes sealed up a demon queen inside. And a "Treasure" *Dried Shroom*. What would you do if a demon was being unsealed. All I can say is, "I hope they have a hero like mario in a thousand years XD"

Real Paper Mario fans appreciate the differences in each game. Paper Mario had an extremely charming atmosphere that leaves me in a good mood whenever I play the game. The Thousand-Year Door had a high degree of polish and some really clever concepts. Super Paper Mario had a phenomenal story and soundtrack.

@PaperMario15 Amen to that, dude. RPG is it's own genre of games anyways, each series just does different things with it so none can really "claim" it as their style that much. What makes Paper Mario is it's style, story, and unique nature. It was all there in every single one. To be a fan is to work with the differences and even appreciate when something wants to be different, otherwise the maker can't develop his/her creation since the "fans" don't want to try something a little different. sad
