Entre 1971 e 1972 eu trabalhava em Belo Horizonte. Waldo de Los Rios havia lançado esta obra prima. Uma radio por nome Atalaia a tocava todas as noites. Até hoje me emociono quando a ouço. Onde anda Waldo de Los Rios?

Honestly, what is the interest of covering Mozart this way? Oh yeah, Waldo de los Rios thought that Mozart forgot the drums, bass guitar and lead guitar. How stupid he was! Though he repaired this big taste mistake and made the UK Top of the Pops top 5 in 1971... 2 years later, he topped the French charts with his dreadful cover of Nabucco. Poor man, he committed to suicide in 1977...

I heard Rush Limbaugh is suppose to have resurrected Waldos music on his program. If he did well,Finally Rush got something right!!! :-) About time. Waldo's music has been played for many years (since the early 70s) on radio stations in the UK and islands like Barbados. I remember first hearing Waldo when I was 11 years, I am now 42 and I still hear his arrangements being played.

The thing that is amazing, this originally came out in the early 70's. I heard it first listening to my folks old stereo on an easy listening station. I loved it then and still think it is an amazing piece of composition.

Scat, first off I dont listen to him all the time but I do sometimes and the reason is simple, thats all we can get down here in Atlanta market on radio, bunch of right wing conservative talks and not even a single liberal.
