Garbage like this is why I refuse to vote for Bridgewater. If Lee doesn't get the nomination, I'll be voting for Bradley in November.

This is not the first time Lonsberry has been fired and it won't be the last. Lonsberry is a liability to the station as his comments are overboard on many issues & have caused law suits for himself & for the station.

I'm strongly in favor of Mike Lee's work to keep spent fuel and radioactive waste out of Utah. His case to continue importing irradiated material pales in comparison. We've spewed more depleted Uranium bullets into one Iraqi tank than Lee's work will ever allow into Utah.

Granted the Energy Solution better not succeed in lobbying the NRCA to reclassify mixed radioactive material as irradiated.

I am so disappointed. The truth is, and I know this after working 20+ year in the heart of a broadcast operation. Bob's contract was terminated because the station had a make or break decision on what to do about the Glenn Beck show. The ratings for the Glenn Beck show is right at the top of the ratings game. In order to keep the show the station HAD to agree ti run it live - no questions asked. It is a ridiculously political statement to blame ES or Mike Lee. I'm VERY disappointed in Ms. Eager.

@healthdennis That sounds right, but doesn't it seem odd that Bob was fired? Without so much as a heads up? Bob said "I didn't even get to say goodbye".  That doesn't sound like Glenn Beck was the only factor, and we all know that there is the given reason and then there are the underlying reasons we never see or hear anything about,. Wether or not it is Energy Solutions back scratching for Mike Lee I don't know.

@insimpleterms Radio can't give them warning! That's how it works. Bob could have trash-talked the radio station high and low if they put him on the air after having fired him. This has NOTHING to do with Mike Lee and ES and this is the most ridiculous stretch I've ever heard of in a local campaign. I'm pretty disappointed that Tim is doing something so NUTTY!

Hahahaha! That is such a ridiculous stretch! A: Mike only represented Energy Solutions on one case, and it was about radioactive waste that is even less potent than Green Exit signs and glow in the dark watches. It's NOT a big deal. And B: Bob Lonsberry was fired due to bad ratings.
