The aircraft does so well with the engine and your flight skills are super. Piston engine won't deliver torque the same way rotating mass is greater.So stall flight spinning loop awesome never seen that done b4 without it being a crash yours was near flat prefect.

you could have just got a radial for that much. it would have more scale and would have sounded waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. turbines are cool but radials are cooler.

Seams to be fairly quiet as well. The issue with turbines otherwise is that they are very loud (neighbors unhappy), but this seems to be the thing. What's the name of the engine?

If you were a real flier you'd appreciate the music. Slap on a pair of head phones and go flying along your favorite river about 40 feet off the deck. Then you'll appreciate the music.

Anyway, beautiful plane and wicked turbo prop sound. I do prefer the rumble of a gasser in that type scale 3D plane but I am sure the thrill factor of the sound of it makes it not matter, always fun to be different.

OMG, after being tired of RC car racing i finaly joined my uncle in his hobby and recieved my trainer plane today (Ripmaxx WOT by Chris Foss, should be great) Can't wait to own the skills and step up to all the available cool stuf like this......

the kit is a yak 54. if you do a search for qq yak on youtube, you will find more yak 54's of the same kit, different owners.

It isn't a kit... It was one of qq aircraft 101" ws ARF;s......

He had the larger one's 122" WS that were built by kevin.Kimball (manf. the pitts python Full scale) they were 100% COmposite.... THis one is a balsa/ply and perhaps some foam in the turtle deck..
