This is one of my favorite new songs from the broadway show. It sounds very haunting and mysterious. The African chanting is a nice touch as well. It adds a touch of authenticity. That it's sung by Sebastian himself from THE LITTLE MERMAID (yep, Sam Wright) also makes it a treat.

If it was religious, it sounds like it would be pantheistic, which is more impersonal and spiritual, like The Force. This is usually used when referring to those that believe in reverence for their ancestors (like Mulan). Then again, this song is just about how Simba carries on with Mufasa's legacy and how Mufasa's influence on him will never die.
