Zeitgeist part 1 is horrible. It relies on Astrotheology and is riddled with errors. Search Acheoastronomy, the real scientific research into the importance of astronomy to ancient cultures. Repeat, Astrotheology is bunk. Archeoastronomy is the true science. It's the science associated with Stonehenge, Newgrange, Spiral Mounds, and all the ancient sites created with a purpose of tracking the seasons and the positions of the sun, moon, and stars. Zeitgeist is so horribly wrong. It's a shame.

Point in fact, Archaeoastronomy wasn't considered a "real science" until a few years ago. Before long, Astrotheology will be a science too - as the evidence is too overwhelming & irrefutable.

But at the same time, I cant sing the praise of a documentary which presents it's information as proven fact when in fact it is not. Much of the info is wrong and a lot of it is misleading at best.

I was taught that Dec 25 was set as Christmas to replace the festival of the Sun celebrated by the pagans then. So it is not surprising that they choose that date. Afterall the background of the story fits well into the Christmas story.

No, what this means is that the Lord had it or planned out to guide the three wise men, and what they mean by the cross resting on the south for three days is that the sun froze for three days until baby Jesus was born, and once baby Jesus was born the sun started moving north, but all this is OUR CREATOR PLAN!!! So yes we celebrate Christmas as being baby Jesus birth. I hope I helped.
