Dude, you're so not cool. Your "sampling" is actually stealing, they don't want you to. And breaking the stem off the broccoli, really? What do you think they are going to with it? Throw it away, yeah more food waste, that's awesome. Take it home and use it or compost it.
Actually, my friends works there and sampling is something they live with because many people just wont buy items without knowing how they taste. Wholefoods has a compost system, so they can do it rather then charging me for it. Relax and Laugh.
Derby Street FTW. :) I use to work at that Whole Foods. I wish they had more raw products though.
