hahahaha true does show that the rural women...are out of all the "KI-AT" (flirtatious/playful/game! hehehe) of all the filipino women...predicted in the dances inyhow...
well done guys! i enjoyed it..very playful... does how rural suite should be done
saiaopinoi hi! i know the buk i think ipag danced it for entertainment that is y its more of creative steps and they added some gimiks to make the dance more interesting at kaabang abang
really?...oh, i do not think so...i have heard great things about ipag..they are the best..their dances are researched.. and excuse me, i think ipag is not a dance company, ipag is a theater company...and helo, who is the author of that dance instruction or whatsoever volume yan...diyan ba nakabase mga sayaw ng bayanihan?ay no wnder, lack of true research...go ipag..fun ako ninyo..mainggit nlang sila..at ikaw rin saioapinoi...did u atend the sayaw pinoy of NCCA?...hmmm, i hope hindi yan kayo...
@paigeunleashed OMFG! I did not make this comment. I haven't even seen this video. I apologize to whoever posted this video. I had no idea my account's been hacked. WTF!
Lapay Bantigue dance in synthesizer and alot of added movements. Check that correct dance notation of this dance on SAYAW: Dances of the Philippine Islands Volume 1.
I think Saiaopinoi is not questioning IPAG's creativity. His point is that IPAG should at least adhere to the dance's authenticity as shown in the book, since they are performing a traditional Filipino dance. The steps in this version is way off the tangent against the published one.
YEs i know i loved their performance. We also performed for them. i love their facial expressions and the way they danced with gracefulness. thanks for commenting.
they had a visit in our school jst ths week... hehehe i know this dance... lapay bantigue?? or bantique??? hehehhe

They had done a lot to improve the steps while preserving the basics. This is truly art!

I also believe this version is over the top.

i too watched their performance. They played the banduria NOT a synthesizer. The banduria has a very high pitched tone.
