  • Curious to know what what your primary and secondary source research materials were for this.

  • @Triceretops77 truth hurts eh

  • The US is only the 12th highest in debt country, stop exaggerating...

  • oh hey another xtranormal video that features a smart, condesending male talking to a stupid female, def. isn't a reflection of the horrible mysoginists that make these videos.

  • This is not about NASA but about the catch-22 laws written by our dipshit congressmen and why our economy is in the shitter!!!

  • @DjJtown - Exactly. I hate that NASA takes the heat as the whipping boy for the fuck-ups of Congress and the President. It's not like NASA just up and decided to cancel Ares because they couldn't hack it, it's because Congress was more interested in keeping a jobs program for contractors by literally designing (Congressmen actually designed the damn SLS themselves) a rocket to nowhere (SLS). Obama approved it because he wanted to free up more money to waste on Afghanistan.

  • This is only poignant if you're one of the masses who knows only what Fox News, Rush Limbaugh or other non-journalists feed you, purely for sensationalism. Besides, this only addresses manned-rockets, or did you forget that your overpriced I-Phones require the dozens of comm sats launched every year. If you have an opinion, get involved. But more likely you will forget this in 10 min, get in your inefficient US car, and "wonder" why gas prices are so high. Keep eating from the trough piggies.

  • @TheHolosim Are you suggesting that this law is coming from the conservatives? They weren't exactly in power during this exchange.

Beyond that, blaming ANYTHING on one side or the other is ignorant. Both sides are retarded. Remember what Washington said: Political parties are stupid.

  • @TheHolosim Cellular phones, such as the "overpriced I-Phone" uses a terrestrial network of cellular towers, not satellites. Satellite phones, which cost many times that of the iPhone, use satellites. The only satellites that an iPone would use are the GPS satellites.

Before you belittle someone who "knows only what Fox News and Rush Limbaugh tell them", know what you are talking about. You might want to try to read a science text book if your neurons are capable of synapses.

  • BHO and his puppet C B have put us light years behind the loop. Thanks to them wanting the workforce to be "diverse" , more than half the hires couldn't use a slide rule or do simple math if their life depended on it.

  • The country is only 5% "in-hock" to China - the same level as Japan.

  • @scasey1960

    12 trillion dollars=/=5%

That would mean the US is worth 240 trillion dollars. That's more than the GDP of Earth.

  • @evilkillerwhale - check out United_States_public_debt under wikipedia. China is $750B. Total US debt is ~ $15T. Get in the habit of checking your facts first.

  • @scasey1960

    You agreed with me, genius.

  • I guess I should be more specific, since you have no clue what you're talking about.

The GDP of Earth is 58.26 trillion USD. 5% of 58.26 trillion is 2.93 trillion. So 15 trillion is *NOT* 5% "in-hock" to China. Considering we're going an average of 1 trillion per year, or over 2% of the WORLD GDP per year "in-hock" to China. Our GDP is only 14.12 trillion, meaning that we're going over 7% of our GROSS domestic product per year. At this point, China can't POSSIBLY collect the debt, it's too high

  • Derp. so true... so true. :'-(

  • Do you think maybe NASA could build a rocket that would send congress and the president to Mars?

  • @jbow Or Maybe NASA should build a rocket that would send "con-gress" and the president on a one way trip to THE SUN

  • Hilarious...and so on target! I work for NASA and this is the closest to capturing the state of play that I've seen anyone write up (or in this case, have little teddy's narrate).

  • It might explain why we've never been visited"

    Bwahahaha!!!

  • impressive how much these little creatures know about rocketry!
