i own a 81 brat its my first car and the thing rocks too but it could use a bigger engine seing how it only puts out 60+ horses so anybody have anyideas as what i should put in there that wouldnt take to much work (no V-8s)

@truckertrucker45 carburator inline 6 straight pipes from the hood open headers. get this engine from a 60-70s car.

i miss my brat ,, it was a 1979 and rusted to hell it was my stump jumper i also drove it into a river and then sold it for a hundred bucks

I guess they are rusted real bad right? thats what happens to most of these old subarus it sucks because the older models were very cool looking for there time.
