I need some help!! I have a project for physics it's due on Tuesday && we can only use an old mousetrap && well we can use other stuff but it has to be an old mousetrap && it sits in a box && we have to make it move forward!!! Any ideas??
I got rid of the pesky mouse that was rummaging around in my closet and going through my trash at night thanks to this video. Just in case you don't know what to use as bait, I used peanuts. I broke them in half and pushed them up under the trigger with a knife. The I stuck the trap in a shoe box. Two days later I checked it, there he was with a snapped neck. I know its sad but I was tired of finding my stuff ruined.
at first they were slow to catch used peanut butter , bread , cheese . would get one mouse a week. Had an idea and made mice a peanut butter sandwich . smush bread on good then rub peanut butter on bread. mice have went nuts am catching them left and right now. looks like mice have built nest in my house because am catching a lot of them. also put trap pretty close to the wall. cause mice use wall as a guide. but not so close they set off trap with their tail by accident.
@thebassmaster32 turns out a female mouse came down from the attic and had baby mice in my closet. this particular closet I never use or even open. when I saw some running in and out of it I checked. and the top of my closet was full of mouse shit. and mouse bedding.
finally caught them all total number of mice was 22 .
Just caught a little mouse bastard with this Victor trap. The bait plate is curved, which means the critters have to work it a little to get the bait out, thus setting off the trigger. I recommend using a SMALL amount of chunky peanut butter as bait. Rub it under the curved part of the bait plate. Do not overbait!! Mice have a keen sense of smell and if you put a huge chunk of peanut butter on the plate, they most likely will just take it all without setting it off. Place them against the wall.
Thanks whoever made this!

The best bait is a lil piece of milk chocolate with a lil peanut butter on top. Works every time I swear. Try it out
