Nice Playing. I have the same guitar, and am not a big fan of the stock pickups, kind of muddy sounding. I've been thinking about putting in new pups in mine, and was wondering, when you put in your mosrites, did you need to cut into the pickguard, or did they fit in nicely?
@hendrix1288 Hi--no they are slightly bigger so mods have ta be done to the pickguard--i actually got another pickguard on e-bay that was exact to this guitar and used that--.that way i just removed this whole assembly -guard -pups-pots-etc so i can make it back orig if i want--note: some trimming of the wood pup cavity may be required depending on what pups you choose to put in--mosrites are a good choice-but theres plenty of others to choose from. thanx.
@BleedingGumsJazz no effects other then normal controls on the amp -bass / treb/ reverb--of course these mosrite pickups have their own distinct sound--thats why i put them in this guitar....thnxxxxx
that was perfect i loved it , great song , do you do honky tonk by the ventures ? one of my faves by them , anyway thanks for posting , your sound is great keep up the good work .
@RamonePinhead -Thanx for the nice comment-you will love the m3,s--I am doing another et220 and will be putting them in that also-whats nice about the et220 is that the neck is just as fast as a mosrite and has a zero fret also ! ---rock on my friend.
