Wow, tough call. Coming from someone who has been teaching martial arts for 20 years and owns 2000+ martial arts movies they are both 2 of my favts. Jacky Wu(wu jing) came out of same wushu school as Jet Li and was discovered by Yuen Woo Ping. Tony Jaa started off as a stunt man. Both are great in movies but are choreographed by others.. Tony Jaa would probably win in a fight. Ong Bak 2 really showed off his diverse skills as he used Hung Gar in that movie.

I don't know Wu Jing but this movie scene sucks. Looks closely: half of his opponents don't throw any attack at him and some even retract their arms upon landing a punch. It's so stupid. Tony gets hit all the time and doesn't care about it. He wins.

In terms of these two particular fights it totally goes to Wu Jing, both men are great martial artist but here Wu Jing literally fights the entire crowd. Jaa just goes one on one rinse repeat stylized. If Wu Jing was going one on one with attackers as well he would have fun with them too. Not to dis Tony but Wu Jing won this round

Wu Jing's random victims keeps coming back even after recovering from 3 - 4 kicks. His fighting strategy is not an effective crowd control. Tony? A simple dislocated arm or finger sends shockwaves of extreme pain through your body, sapping all your strength & will to fight & will persist until the joints are put back together. There will be no round 2. Tony's strategy is more effective but I do prefer a weapon in hand every now & then...

I prefer Tony Jaa because if I saw him beating up those dudes like that, I would call the cops to tell them some dude is killing the hell outta everyone, I wouldn't do that for Wu Jing's fight because I just don't buy his method of fighting a crowd, which seems to consist of jumping really high and spinning a lot. Tony Jaa may have won 1 or 2 fights during training camp but against the Top Mauy Thai fighter he'd get creamed. Hes not even ranked in mauy thai, no reputation in fighting world, not much experience of actual combat. Hes only famous in the film industry.He is an actor/Stuntman not a fighter. ehhh Thai fight scenes are not shot the same as Hong Kong, Hk has alot of camera tricks wires, speeding the frames up, not very much contact, where Thai films are shot at real speeds, they make much more contact, and well they dont like wires, its all about how the fights are filmed, it Tony jaa here was in a HK film they would never allow him to do most of what he does, the fights would be faster and yeah they would not let his really kick and knee people in the face....

Unlike Tony Jaa, Jackie Wu is an actual martial artist. He'd been practicing wushu since he was a kid and is the equivalent of what Jet Li was back in his youth. In a real fight Jackie would win. Wushu is a martial art that's almost entirely based on kicking and jumping; those practicing it strengthen their legs more than anything else.

Tony Jaa, if you've read his biography, is a gymnast. He'd gone to a gymnastics college and is not a Muay Thai expert. For Jaa, it's all acrobatics.
