Final Fantasy 7 is a good competitor for this game. Truth be told, FF7 is a longer game, has fun minigames, and in my opinion it has a better story line. Just my opinion.

i think this game pans the fuck out of any final fantasy game, I hate take in turn games, if i wanted to do that i would play chess!! this game offers action, the best adventure crossing loads of big maps and exploring lots and lots of areas, a shit load of puzzles, so you feel you have accomplished something and loads of cool toys like the hook shots and different armors, swords and bows that serve a different purpse, In my opinion this is my favourate game and i have played loads of games :D

It is such a shame that I never got this game on the N64! I eventually played it on an emulator, then I thought, "it ain't the same on the emulator, so I got the Gamecube remake. It is still an outstanding game today.
