I think we put too much stock into race, religion and ethnicity. Judge a person by their character and not their skin and while Justice Sotomayor has made some questionable comments in public, she has not allowed those comments to stand in her way of judging the law and I hope she stays that way.

Sotomayor is the whitest Hispanic I've ever seen. Why don't they have any darks ones?

I honestly try to judge everyone as individuals,but it's hard. I can't help but feel extra nervous when walking by a big black guy.
