ok... i get to where you have to hit pre-jialbrek, i put it into DFU mode then hit the button and it starts then a message shows up in the box saying that the ipod is in DFU mode and to press the pre-jailbreak button :S... ive tried it 6 times wtf is the issue? lol plz help

yes it does its the video i used the first time i jailbroke my ipod an btw the memory dosent have anything to do with jailbroke

it will work for any ipod touch 2g but.. for 8g i dont recommend it because jailbreak takes around 3g of space, so u wouldnt have much to urself.

i recommend you jailbreak it, i did it as soon as i got it out of the box lol. theres a chance you can brick it but if that happens just restore. or if you use a shitty program to jailbreak your ipod itll go into verbose mode after awhile and then your ipod wont even get detected by ur comp so u cant restore and ur screwed, but if u use like quickpwn, you should be fine

when i try to put it in dfu mode it says on itunes dat it is in dfu mode then when i go on quickfreedom and i click start pre-jailbreak it says dat i need to put it in dfu mode.... i tryed lots of times but itstill says dat.

It does work on vista!!

You just change the compatability in properties on quickfreedom to XP if you are using Vista!!!
