Jerma! I have the exact same problem! When I start TF2, there's a minute or two where I can access servers, but then it all just disconnects, I can't get into anything, and I have to wait a couple of minutes until it's working again. If you have managed to find out what the problem is, or how to fix it, please please respond! I would really want to fix this, it's been driving me crazy for months!

@cmasisado Probably because people realized that it was never overpowered to begin with and calmed down. It just has one more shot and is weak against buildings, that disable sentry and chargeshot frankly never really came into play at least effectively.

Imagine if they expanded on this? I can already see it. How about a laser minigun for heavy? I already thought about it's stats:

-Revs up 25% faster

-Can fire a GIANT LAZOR BEAM that lasts 5 seconds and takes 3 minutes to charge, and causes you to turn 90% slower (to prevent wide, OP sweeping)

-Bullets move 10% slower

-50% smaller clip size

-Requires ammo, but only picks up half the collected ammo.

How about it? It would probably have been better to put this on a forum, but whatever.

-No faster rev speed

-Bullets move 50% slower (Get ready to lead your shots, kids!

-Requires no ammo: Overheat function. Overheats after approx. 150 boolit, and takes 10 seconds to cool. Overheating charges laser (not 3 mins to charge). Collecting ammo packs helps cool down the gun.

-Chargin' Targe turning (You know what mean)

@FaezLaiji You can download a mod that makes the particle effects a lot smaller. I've even seen a few mods where it makes it look like a regular rocket launcher. Just google it, it really helps.

Yeah, the new Soldier weapons have been making me rage pretty hard, too. It's like they decided to just pile everything on him and leave the Engie out entirely. The weapon barely has a downside, too, which is the worst part. Random crits mean nothing, and a Soldier with the Cow Mangler and a shotgun can solo an Engie nest. It's pretty ridiculous, if you ask me.

@JutlandRebel The thing is the Cow Mangler 5000 does jack-all to buildings of any kind. So the Soldier loses his abilty to destroy any Turrets blocking your pack. However, a fully charged shot can 1 shot an Engie. And if it doesn't that added burn effect will. I have the gun and yes, it is very overpowered.

@ThePokeFan21 Ok, so the soldier is somewhat good at taking down turtlers. What's new? Sure you can do well with the rocket launcher, but it's definitely not op, even before the nerfs. The reason i say this is because of the power of the old rocket launchers.

@Gerstein1 I see your point, I find the effect of burning whomever you shot with the fully charged shot adds to the overpoweredness of it. And if your standing next to a Dispenser you can just spam and spam the rocket without having to worry about reloading. But of course, since the shots move so slow most classes can just run away from it. If you hit somebody directly with a charged shot it can kill most classes, and if it doesn't the burn will kill them off witht he exception of Heavy.

the weapon doesn't have ammo per-say. But it DOES have to recharge, the rocket launcher has 5 shots, then you have to reload

the pistol (secondary weapon)has 4 shots and needs to reload (reloads much faster then the launcher). If you think the launcher is BS, the pistol penetrates people and goes through them, so it's great to kill a line of enemys

Also, the reason why you can't connect to any servers when you launch TF2 is because the game refreshes the entire server list when launched. Depending on your router, this either exceeds the amount of active IP addresses allowed at once (and prevents new ones from being opened until the old ones go inactive). If your router is supported, flash DD-WRT firmware on it and behold the awesomeness.

These damn weapons rape my fps soo much. Also jerma with the brast beast jumping around corners is really not effective. Your weapon does alot of damage and as soon as you start shoting you kill really fast. But when you jump and starts spining it does it so slow by the time you shot half your healt is gone. Going around a corner slowly is alot more effective.You dont lose as much healt and your weapon is ready if guys comes.Also sandvich brass beast still works.

Just a quick spy tip: when you are trying to get someone to hit you so your Dead Ringer activates, you should still use a friendly disguise. Sometimes, people don't even notice that you were a spy and therefore don't look for you when you cloak :)

Your server browser occasionally stops working because your NAT table is being over-flooded. I have the same problem with the router that came with Verizon FIOS.

You can attempt to fix it by visiting the steam support page and searching for "Refreshing a Server List Locks Up My Internet Connection".
