  • His desirous face I am unable to summon up, To whom can I confide it in friend? My soul unforgotten of his love Then why does my memory fade to his looks! My eyes, images a visual, Sans his beauteous person Where is his lovely face that has? The lovely smile of a worthy flower! Even if the bees forgets honey Will it not recognize light? Crops, which fails to look to the sky, None exists here!
  • Great singing. I love it

  • I am avid listener of Hindustani music and I must say Arunji sings for his own soul and this is a great achievement.Like Bhimsen Joshiji he enjoys every bit of singing and god will be pleased.Long live O S Arun and I thank him for this rendering.

  • THANK YOU , SIR , FOR THIS AWESOME APPROACH. WE NEED ANOTHER 'PRIVI' TO COMPLETELY ENJOY MANY MORE SUCH PIECES.

  • Beautiful singing. God bless him.

  • OS Arun is a gift for real music lovers. Singers have got freedom to elaborate the emotions..Excellent rendition of the raagam joun puri. I am going get the CD s of Arun singing in Tamil. Those people who complain about his movements should close their eyes and hear his divine singing.

  • i am not a singer but his way of singing cannot sink into anyone's heart.there is no proper display of emotions.he is singing asif a student singing with shivering in front of his teacher.this song is sung by a girl in thabam..he is a liability for karnatic music.hev takes a leaf or two from priya girls.i am taking a copy of his rendition so as to never forget how a song should not be sung

    dr pathy

  • Aun has brought out the emotions in his songs very well. Rather than singing with no emotions waht so ever ...that's with out conveying the emotions in that beautiful song... I would say Arun did a great job of doing justice to the great barathiyaar.

  • super bhavam

  • semma comedy boss neenga

  • ninaivu has become ninaaivuu. subbramania bharati idha keetar na romba kavalai paduvaar.

  • i like the way he sings, one of the best

  • What is wrong with all those people who are complaining of statements, but forgetting that Arun is giving a great performance. Those who are coming with this type of complaints should concentrate on other important things like not including so many english words in their daily talking of their native language.

  • OS Thyagarajan Carnatic maestro, OS Arun, bhajans expert singer, and OS Sundar a leading traditional bhajanai singer, are sons of a capable though less known musician father, Vidwan OV Subramanian. Unsurprisingly, music comes to Arun (video),in a natural way, from such an illustrious family lineage. Arun sings compositions from Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Sanskrit & Marathi, and so well too, with a mellifluous voice. Criticism about pronounciations if acted upon can benefit him.

  • @paulkrist44 You got me right. Perfection comes from(attending to a no.of)"trifles", but perfection is no trifle,as some great one said. It is not a matter of Sanskritisation, but a little disciplining of the tongue for producing the correct sounds for respective letters. It was shocking to hear Tamil letters la, zha or,La, ra and Ra, uttered without difference, even during the World Classical Tamil meet in Kovai, by "champions" of Tamil who had not learnt letters with their sounds correctly.

  • Well rendered. One correction in pronounciation: aasai, nesam, are to be pronounced with sa bet. sa and sha. It is not sa as in Sarasvati. Most people make this mistake.

  • @lsjtifo why is this, isn't pronouncing sha in a tamil song, sanskritization of the tamil sa?

  • Comment removed

  • @NickAlgore

LISTEN TO THE MUSIC AND AVOID ANALYSING THE 'SA' AND 'SHA'

ASAI OR ASHAYAI IRUKUTHEY ARE ALL THE SAME. LISTEN TO HINDI/ SANSKRIT/TAMIL/TELUGU/ AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE .

  • @lsjtifo I agree. It sounds sanskrit not Tamil.

  • amazing performance!

  • Unmatched performance in recent times..I do not know the language..but it is just music at its best..

  • marvellous. Thanks for posting.

  • Every one bring his or her style and wonder if this singer a tamil since when it ceoms to nencham his hands dont touch the heart for instance .or when mention eye no direction from eyes. just a thoguht about the cordination of hand movements.otheriwse credit to his enthusiatic singing

  • OS Arun is indeed the melody king and i even like his theatrics. The stage looks well-appointed, the backdrop is of a nice design and colour, the musicians are well-dressed and their instruments in good condition. in short, it looks as if no expense has been spared, but nothing looks too grand or garish, which is in very good taste. The only small criticism could be that in improvising his style, OS Arun could be less staccato and more fluid in his rendering.

  • Excellent rendition by os arun.

i dont now hou to express, god has given wounderful gifted voice.

    gbalasuma.

  • Excellent rendition my guru OS.A.

I am not well versed in TAMIL and will therefore appreciate the meaning of this song. Wonderful voice - wow
