  • people hate on america because their media tells them to. the video assumes that there is even one country on the planet where their government does what the people would prefer they did.

  • The proverb was that of "Sour Grapes"

  • if you where Mexican, gotveggieoil will assume that you are "illegal" hes racist gotveggieoil

  • The govt dumb them down with drugs ,chemicals and propaganda.50% of Americans have been prescribed with psychotropic drugs the other 50% take illegal drugs ,and then the govt feeds them Fluoride and heavy doses of propaganda.

They are fat and lazy from eating to much crap

to the point that 50% of them do not even bother to vote.

They are about to lose their freedom and they still do not fill the streets up.

What they will tell their grand kids when they ask why

  • I could not have said it better myself.

  • Great video thanks for sharing your thoughts..

it is a choice .. the ugly true answer to your question is because they choose not to out of ignorance or fear.

But there are many Americans now that are wide awake and the activity is apparent... you might ask yourself a question.. " do you believe that the american people will ever wake up?" because you create reality.. we have to allow good things the opportunity to happen

  • I hate america too and I live here!!!

  • Then get the hell out.

  • Cathasaigh is the problem in America

if people do not agree they always tell you get the hell out.

that is so anti American it is a joking matter now how americans are anti American today.

  • Wrong. He said "I hate America", not "I don't like X about America." There's a big difference. There's no shame in seeing problems with your country and wanting to fix them because you care about it. Hating your country is another story.

And vampin6, nobody is trapping your dumb ass. I live in Japan and have been to plenty of other countries--and guess what, I'm American! If you got off your ass and made something of yourself, you could go somewhere you don't hate. How 'bout that?

  • I cant get out im trapped.

  • You are so right!!!

  • HELLO! She is not talking AMERICAN PEOPLE, she is talking about EVIL CORRUPT POLITICAL LEADERS. These poor people (but rich in SPIRIT!) have been through HELL that you cannot imagine. STUDY HISTORY! She is trying to tell us something..She HAS MORE GUTS THAN THE AMERICANS DO TO SPEAK OUT ABOUT WHAT IS REALLY happening! BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! She is more AMERICAN than WE ARE! ~ LOVE AND PEACE ~ Catalina

  • America is a wonderful country and it has the best Government in the world. If America wasn't here your Armenia would be part of Russia right now. You people side with Russia that is whats the problem. If you don't like US live this country. We don't need haiters here.

  • I feel bad for every Armenian that died. I don't want anything bad to happen to your country but dont talk about genocide when you genocide other people as well. YOU help with the genocide of Georgians and you took a great part in Genocide of Azeris. That is both of your neighbors.

  • Lady don't get me wrong I am a Georgian. We are Armenian neighbors. I like many Armenians and many of them live in my country. However do not talk about your genocide when you help with the genocide of others. You Armenians helped Russia in Aphazia with Georgian genocide. Therefore you have no room to talk.

  • Politicians dont give a crap about americans or how many soldiers die.

It was clearly a political move that democrats hoped would destroy Turkey and USA relations so america would loose the war.

God politicians dont even care about history they only care about vote.

  • You are 100% correct. If they did do you think they would not have DESTROYED all of the great museums, cemetaries, and other 5,000 year old cultural artifacts in the Middle East and Eastern Europe! NO WAY! All they care about is MONEY! MONEY! MONEY! I SPIT ON THEM! ~ Thanks so much for the VIDEOS! ~ Catalina

  • You are Full of Hate and should get out of the US - the country you hate

  • I went all through school not knowing where we came from or how to keep on going this way.

sorry for so many posts, 500 characters is really not enough. :) I think you are a very smart lady, and I can't believe people say such horrible things to you. Open minded and alert are you, close minded and in the dark are they.

  • I myself am only recently interested in these things, because I was employed at a business where business was slow and the TV. was locked on CNN (thank God). I had no idea. I didn't even know the difference between republican and democrat. Now less than two years later, I find it disgusting to have been so, and allowed to be so ignorant and uninformed. No one ever said to me not one time "here is a newspaper, read it."

  • Bless your heart. I got into politics when I accidentally found myself working in a high government office and now 30 plus years later I'm more interested than ever. Our global reputation here in the US is so bad. Thank God people are getting angry enough -- esp. the young -- to get involved on a larger scale than in many decades. Try some community forums, great discussions!

  • I agree with awrifford. lazy. apathy and ignorance. the youth of America are not taught to value, know and understand, or practice their own rights. political science does not exist except to politicians. we live in a time of convenience, and it is inconvenient to practice these rights when there are video games to be played and songs to downloaded. They are not taught to care so they don't care, why should they? it doesn't affect them. Right?

  • Fortunately this is only partially true. You remind me of my own comments on many forum discussions: lazy, preoccupied, spoiled. And worse yet those who don't participate often complain the most. But it is changing, at last! I'm on a mission to wake up even more folks.

  • wow all that talking and all I heard was wayyy wayy booo hoo america isnt wat I want it to be wayyy then get the hell out

  • It's the blindness of people like you that help make it so. The ones who need to get out are the criminals, etc. who don't do a thing to contribute -- not even hold a job, don't appreciate a thing we have here. I'm determined to help resuce the US from its own citizens -- and corrupt politicians. I know, they go hand in hand, but you must work for change, instead of arrogantly criticizing the unconcerned. Please do!

  • so are you calling me a "criminals, etc" well I not and the fact that you generalize a group of ppl that disagree with you shows that you are ingnorent, and by the way no one asked for you help I for one dont need it

  • You know very well I never suggested any such thing. But for you to even suggest I did shows you only want to argue and cause upheaval. If you read that into it, you are the ignorant one. Mine was a message of change, hope and frustration with the status quo. If you are against these 3 things, oh well. I'll pray for you. Did you not read my encouragement toward change?!

  • you did suggest that, thats why I used quotes (you words) I do appreciate your prayers(I need all I can get)but there is a difference between wanting change and being anti american I do know the difference.one is putting forth ideas the other is insulting and I do pick a bit of that up in the way you make your statements

  • Well I'm sorry you misinterpreted my point, which you did. The point was, if you have any problems with people you might focus more on what's wrong right here at home with our own citizens who are undermining our society in ways that are just as devastating as anything any terrorists might cause. That is, if you want the US to remain free and sovereign. Many great societies are destroyed from within. So my message was positive if you care to read it that way. Why did you take it personally?

  • just as devastating...just as devastating..NOT..when you have a family member murdered by a errorists then lets see if you can still sit there and compare america to errorists..are you trying to be insulting...america ..is..not.. the..problem ppl that forget what real errorists are,is the problem

  • No, the media spin causes people to ignore the OTHER forms of terrorism being perpetrated upon us, such as the poisoning of food and toys and such from China (our biggest threat), and economic terrorism too, to name a few. The subtler forms of terrorism are the most dangerous, because they aren't so obvious as crashing planes into buildings. I love the US but I'm not going to sit back and ignore the truth just to appear patriotic. I NEVER compared the US to terrorists. Stop baiting.

  • De Nile, De Nile, De Nile. I did not generalize. I specified that slackass, criminal types who don't appreciate living in the US don't deserve to. Unless that caused a twinge of guilt in you, what is the problem?! If you took it personally, you are the one holding us back from positive change becuz you're too concerned about YOU and not about US in the U.S.!!! And yes, you do need help.

  • here it is....we do not act on our rights because many of us are lazy and don't care about anything but their gadgets and "reality" TV shows. It's really that simple. I hate to disappoint, if you had some notion that it is some big conspiracy ..but..sadly for us, no.

Apathy and ignorance. Our schools train us that way and that's how we come out of the grinder....

  • big surprise that a muslim would support a turkish genocide and claim everyone hates america because of our actions. you say "we" as if you're an american or something. you're not an american, you're a muslim. don't try and hide your intentions and act patriotic, because you would behead me and my family if you got the chance.

  • mattrmc19, I have no intentions to hide who I am. And For sure I have no intentions to kill anybody. I would not kill you not because u r muslem, jew, christian. I would not kill you just because you are a human. I am HUMANIST more than anything else. Do you really mean what you say?

  • You are so ignorant. If she's a muslim does that make her less than you? Obviously not, it seems as though it's the other way around, if lack of character is any measure. Hatred and prejudice have no place in the US or on YouTube, so get over yourself.

  • I don't agree with any of this video, but you do have other good ones.

  • libassbug, you do not need to agree with me in everything. That would be boring, wouldn't it ? I would like to know why do not you agree. I would love to see flaw in my thought process. THANKS!

  • Well, some of our biggest supporters of our war against terror and iraqi liberation are the muslem women - do to their opression. So I was quite surprised by the tone of your video. Truthfuly I was insulted because I know grew up here and know how this country operates. If it wasn't for your enchanting and beautiful eyes I never would have finished it. I hope I didn't offend you with my video responce.

  • Good work!

  • I want to disagree. It seems to me Turkey's denial of wrong doing in the deaths of 1 million(?) Armenian people following WWI is worthy of our attention. However, at this time bringing it up may endanger our troops. And their safety is paramount. Another fine video.

  • 'putting fingers in parts of body'; parts of body relating to countries or the people of countries = metaphor of fascism

  • True - I hadn't thought of it that way.

  • The point of your video is quite valid though. While the majority of informed Americans do know better, they are unfortunately still in the minority. But while individual responsibility should not be dismissed, part of the blame falls on our lazy and corrupt news media, which no longer seeks truth or to inform people. They're only interested in ratings and editorializing.

  • grafinia, you've made an error. The Bush administration is actually opposed to this measure. It's Congress that's trying to push this measure. Congress doesn't give a rat's ass about Armenians. They're playing politics with Bush because in angering Turkey, it will weaken his support for continued action in Iraq. Both the Bush admin and Congress are made up of immoral, corrupt, unintelligent, & weak politicians. The majority of informed Americans do not support them or this pointless measure.

  • And sadly, some people do not BOTHER before voting to check and SEE how the people that are candidates have voted in the past....so then SOME of them get RE-elected!! You are entirely right. American government does NOT work for the American people.

  • OMG...I have said that forever and ever. WHY do we have to stick our STUPID fingers in EVERY damn pie that has NOTHING to do with us! And personally, I CONSTANTLY talk to my state senators and congress people. You know what, Honey...they do not LISTEN to the people. They PRETEND to, and then go do as they choose. They only pretend to listen to us long enough to win elections. Then they do what they want for the length of their term.

  • i am with you Grafinia. There are a lot of cleaning up we need to do in this country. We need to make it a place that people can love again, both abroad and here at home. I want to hold my head up and feel proud.

I have no idea how the Armenian/Turkish argument got onto our senate floor. It's insane the things they waste time on.

    Love you, hon.

  • America definately isnt the same America that is taught from the textbooks. As corectly stated on prior comments. America serves corporate interest and just throws hundreds of billions in no bid contracts to these thieves and crooks in suits. Thereby always F%&(King the American people.

  • Excellent observations!

I agree entirely... especially that the U.S. government does not work for us...'We the People'.

The current government works for corporations like Exxon and Pfiser.

And they don't care about us at all.

  • The other theory is that the american government in itself is a big business. that is their sole purpose. why they get involved with the problems of other world powers is to benefit off of them hopefully by either money, resources, or defense support.

i think american govt. should focus on solving our problems here first.

  • Grafinia, i completley agree with you. our leaders should work to solve our problems.

I have two theories to this problem. The first is that, in my opinion, America assumes responsibility for many problems of the world. The crisis in the middle east; the armenia turkey conflict; the "liberation" of iraq; all americas problem. what i dont understand is why america assumes responsibility for these problems. is it for repuation? for power? or money, which leads to my next theory.

  • I seriously do not care how Turkey deals with its internal issues. It is not American or EU problem. Turkey needs to deal with it and solve it. It is not American congress work. They work is to protect American interest and American people.

  • I go through the motions of calling my congressmen, sending them emails, and signing online petitions to be sent to them and it is a complete waste of time. You cannot get elected in this country without huge amounts of corporate money that make our leaders more beholden to those corporations than to us. Mussolini said fascism should be called corporatism and that is what we have now.

  • crazycat why do not you run for office yourself. :) I mean it. Just do not give up.

  • I am an old long haired hippie living in a Texas military town full of rednecks and I think I would have a better chance of being beaten up by a bunch of pickup truck drivers that cut their own hair than getting elected to anything local.

  • well frankly, short of armed revolution, our elected leaders don't give a dam about what the citizens have to say. Oh and the rest of the world, it's give us your money now go away, you don't belong here.

  • People who hate America are fools. I can see it in my entourage.

Hating America is forgetting that this country , like all other countries, represent many people, with many different views, I can not hate an entire group of person.

And as I already read this somewhere : America means civil liberties, patriotism means protecting them.

That's all I can say about this :)

  • People in the rest of the world know more of our real history than the average American. If you know our history especially over the last 60 years it is pretty hard to believe that we are the good guys. I got spammed with hate mail from a soldier this week that did not even know we killed 2 million innocent people in Cambodia.

  • Ummm, crazycatfguy...When you say "we" killed 2 million people in Cambodia do you mean you and Pol Pot? Or you and the Khmer Rouge?

  • Nixon and Kissinger started a bombing campaign and in the chaos that followed there was a coup which allowed Pol Pot to seize power. We dropped bombs that totaled 10 times the power of the Hiroshima bomb and does it really matter if we killed just one million instead of two million? Check google video for Cambodia Year Zero to get the skinny on the matter.

  • Crazycatfguy, first off, numbers really do matter especially if one of your family is killed, or if you are being accused of murder. And second, there is a strong argument to be made that it was absence of American power, not American bombing(secret or otherwise) that allowed this to occur and anti-interventionist, pacifist press that ignored the story keeping it from the world until it was too late.

  • Please take the time to watch the 52 minute documentary I mentioned before you make up your mind.

  • John Pilger is an award winning war correspondent who's integrity is beyond question.

  • whats this shit with checking google for referrences??? Well just the other day I found an article on the net stating that cows can be thought to fly.. not all, just white and black spotted ones.

    READ BOOKS, KNOW MORE.

  • Try this. You usually come up with more than one page of hits. Try actually looking at some of the others and see if there is a reference from some entity you find credible.

  • Complacency, ignorance of citizen rights and responsibilities...I get pissed off about this all the time...I am an active participant in the political system....but the majority of people around me don't think they can do anything, don't know what to do, don't think they can possibly have any effect at all...so, they don't even try...

  • I think part of it may be that we look weak to the rest of the world. Most of you are too young to remember, but I'm not.

Back in the 70's, every other day you turned on the TV, innocent americans were being drug through the streets of a middle east country, simply for being american.

It seemed like it was a different country every time. Had we nuked the ME back then, I bet we wouldn't be looked at as wimps by the whole world!

    :/
