You could easily program a computer to create anything you like on a etch-a sketch. If this is a real viable art form I might be convinced to a write a program to convert pictures... But I doubt it would be worth the effort because the second I write that program they all become worthless.

What's really amazing is that an etcha sketch uses just one line. One line to create an entire picture like that - the art itself may not be as perfect as some other medias, but you try doing that without lifting your pencil. Ever. I'm impressed.

I hate to be a doubter, but by the description he gives of his method to remove the powder and stylus, couldn't the pictures be done by removing those things and simply drawing on the back with the stylus rather than using the knobs? I'd like to see the stop animation of one of his creations to know he really does them like you & I would try to.
