In all seriousness, I try to avoid using pitch correction unless I absolutely need it. Needless to say, I was impressed that a live take didn't have any noticeable pitch problems.

MAN! Let me share this: As a professional musician that has performed at Disneyland, (Daper Dans and Kids of the Kingdom) I have to say this is one of my fav songs!!! @jd7x7jd Ah ok, that makes sense. In that case you've got a point. When it comes to filming videos in a recording studio, we just tried to capture the real deal, AKA no acting, no wearing suits or anything, we basically pretended like the camera wasn't there. Recording is much different than putting on a concert or something, and it requires a different mindset. So although the presentation is lacking, what you're seeing is a genuine studio session without any visual bells or whistles.

Dear Andrew Noooo I was not commenting on the musical performance - the singing is perfect. I was talking only about the presentation of the piece as an experience for the listener. It ends, we are knocked out, we want to leave on that perfect high, not be distracted by pop-ups, messages or by the guys strolling off set. Danny did an awesome one where he extinguished the lights one by one, leaving the funny guy with the hat. If you see what I mean. :)

Andrew take a look at Vance Perry singing Don't Stop Believing. He creates a complete performance because he understands that we need to deal with the emotional impact. So the ending is absolutely clean, no advertising, no pop-ups, no strolling casually off set. Apart from this one gripe  I LOVE IT!!!!

Ours is a complete and natural performance done live in a recording studio, which is an environment that captures the raw emotion of our collaborative singing. The fact that we filmed it live and not lip sync-ed goes to show we are offering the real thing and have nothing to hide. Nothing against Vance, but his videos are heavily altered by pitch-correction software, edits and it's an artificial replication of a cappella music.

@BlackMorphs I see your point, however the whole tag would have to be rearranged, bringing the lead down an octave would sound quite a bit worse (not a good voicing). I'd listen to the original vocal spectrum version, a lot of their songs have Tim Waurick ending on a high note.

This is really good!! I may only be 17, but I've grown up with Barbershop music. Your voices blend well, but some of the balancing is off, which throws off some blending in the last chord, so it doesn't lock and ring like it's supposed to. That would be my own suggestion for you. Overall, amazing!! If you haven't started competing, you should. You'll go far with it.
