They could've summed up the rest of the fights with Super Buu in the story mode if they wanted.

Play as Super Buu.

Go against SSJ3 Gotenks, then Ultimate Gohan, then absorb Gotenks, then finish the fight against Ultimate Gohan.

And for this fight, add in Ultimate Gohan fight Super Buu, Goku arriving, Gohan being absorbed, and continue from there.
