In 78-79 and again later I fought with the sandinistas in Nicaragua. I met some of the Cubans, Chileans and Bolivians who worked and fought with Che. Hearing the commandantes name being abused by islamists, who hate everything he stood for, makes me want to puke.

As someone who did battle in Central America in the 70ies (check my name if you wonder) and met some of his former associates, hearing Che being evoked on al-quds day makes me want to puke. Most of the attendants at the rally would label him a kafir.

It is interesting that the iranian mullahs now portray him as a deeply religious man who hated godless communism....which led to a recent slanging match with his daughter, Aleida, who would have none of it.
