First you sounded British, and then like a Kiwi! Haha. The main difference I have found is all in the vowels. While American's say to-ma-to. Australia's say to-mah-to. It's a longer extended sound. Also in words such as "talker" where there is an "er" on the end America's pronounce it literally but Australian's just shorten it to an "a" sound. That's all I can think of at the moment.
